MoeFOH Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago This question was posed to me recently and, surprisingly, it stopped me in my tracks. No pun intended. Shooting from the hip, I would've said Pulp Fiction, no contest, in years past. Now, when I ponder the question for a bit there's a lot of other contenders I might go for... Anyhow, this might be the first in a series posts... A question that makes you stop & think because there's a bit of complexity hidden under the hood. (Or not ). Let's see how it flies... Over to you. 👉 What's your pick for best movie soundtrack of all time? 2

WestCoastSmokin Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Interstellar and Goodfellas are two of my favorites! 2
Popular Post Ford2112 Posted 17 hours ago Popular Post Posted 17 hours ago Singles - The movie was utter trash lol but the Soundtrack and Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns by Mother Love Bone, Seasons by Chris Cornell and Drown by Smashing Pumpkins. Plus anything with Mark Lanegan and Mudhoney on it is awesome! Heavy Metal Soundtrack is another one I love. 3 2

riderpride Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Judgment Night. Total gamechanger mashing up 2 hot bans on each track, including 'Just Another Victim' with lead HOP singer playing the role of Rhodes. Cheers! Edit - honorable mention to The Blues Brothers Helmet/ HOP mashup: 1 1

Ken Gargett Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago please. Springsteen on Broadway, daylight second. is the Last Waltz a contender? i see no reason why not. blues brothers, if we are going away from "music movies". guardians of the galaxy a cracker. 2
Popular Post LaoFan Posted 13 hours ago Popular Post Posted 13 hours ago Depends if we're talking original scores or curated lists. Original score, this is as good as it gets for me: TIL: this is sung in a completely madeup language. Curated list, its tough to beat Tarantino: Probably my favourite of all-time... the contrast is perfect. Pulp Fiction, Goodfellas, Guardians of the Galaxy, Trainspotting, Drive. 9

cnov Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago There are too many Hans Zimmer numbers that float that cinematic boat but one that has always stood out as a perfect marriage of music and cinema... Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Yes, the acting is terrible and the plot paper thin, but it's cool as f***. 3
JohnS Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Ennio Morricone's work in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly is personally hard to beat for me. 2 2
Chibearsv Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I think there’s confusion regarding soundtrack versus musical score. Either that, or I’m confused, which is completely possible. John Williams and Ennio Morricone created musical scores, not soundtracks, right? 1
BrightonCorgi Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago 12 hours ago, Ken Gargett said: and who does not love the Bond theme? We have a 24/7 James Bond channel. A dedicated thread on which Bond movies have the best theme song. There are a few that I would rank above the rest, but until that thread is published, I will remain silent. 1
BrightonCorgi Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago The Bodyguard and Saturday Night Fever are two highest selling movie soundtracks of all time. 2
Rhod Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I have 2 answers to this question. First, as a total package soundtrack, has to be Rocky. But... the soundtrack that I listen to most is a film not many people have seen, but I love. Until the End of the World. Wim Wenders masterpiece. Honorable mention: Sucker Punch 2
