If so, that was good and I wish he would have done more work like that. Not only that, you wouldn't believe that it's Tom Cruise in this role (as movie executive Les Grossman) in his other scenes, only because he's so funny! I guess he wanted to prove that he could do comedy in a supporting role. I agree, we're unlikely to see him like this again... 2

One of my favorite parts of one of my favorite movies. Wife and I call it a “break glass in case of emergency” movie because it’ll always make us laugh even when really sad things are happening. 3

Robert Downey Jr. absolutely crushed it. “Red Dragon. F*ck face. Southeast Asian is mine!” 3
joeypots Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Anyone who hasn't seen Tropic Thunder is missing out on great satire and comedy. And, for sure, the pretty boy steals the show. Robert Downey Jr has his moments as well. 1
chasy Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Robert Downey was so good that the fact that he was in black face (a 100% cancelable offense for the last decade) went completely unpoliced. Even the cancel culturers knew not to touch it! 1

Bill Hayes Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Don Cheadle in Mission to Mars. Just abysmal. Was a running joke at our place when searching through Netflix movies. Ha ha! And controversially, Michael Madsen. Was good in Reservoir Dogs but lucky Tarantino was loyal. Plays the same character every time, trying to add stilted timing to poignant lines so they can be used in trailers and teasers. Has a great distinctive look but lucky he has a great director and editor filming. Thankfully, he knows his place. Imagine if he had to hold a whole film together as a lead actor. Would be funny to watch though, like the guy from 90210 in Sharknado. 2
