Last Thursday our Honduras Fabrica 5 team downed tools, pulled some cold beers, lit up a Fab 5 cigars, and held their first proper brainstorming session. We have been running flat out for six months and this was our first "all in" event. 
I zoomed in for the meeting and was again blown away by their passion and engagement. They showed me the first of the new Fabrica 5 Photo Boards,  a wall of photos celebrating the people who smoke and love their work.

Their idea is simple. They want Fabrica 5 cigar lovers around the world to send in photos of themselves enjoying the cigars they make. Each month they will post the photos on the boards, draw one name, and roll a wheel of cigars for that person free of charge.
It is a beautiful thing. They want to go to work surrounded by the faces of the people who enjoy what they craft.

We will use this thread as the medium for members to post your photos. 

There are only a few guidelines. 

1. It can be any Desnudo/MOFOH or BOND ROBERTS Cigar. 
2. Your face/mug and cigar need to be in the photo. Dogs, cats, goldfish, wife, mistress are all welcome. 
3. We will pick the winners on the first Tuesday of each month. 
4. Winner will be posted and I will PM the winner. 
5. Winner will have a choice for their favourite unbanded half-wheel of cigars (50). Short note from the roller will accompany them. No charge.    I will post photos of the cigars being rolled once we have our first winner and his selection. 
6. They will be brought into Florida along with our normal shipments and sent to you from there. 
7. As long as it is a different Fabrica 5 cigar, you can send through as many as you like. 
8. New competition starts each month.

I’ll start with my mug enjoying a Ninfa, these are my favourite in the lineup and have become a cigar that I hope to always keep deep stock of. I even have my own dedicated desktop humidor just for the Ninfa. In my humble opinion, it is the best NC skinny on the market. To all at Fabrica5, thank you!

Bond Roberts Petit 109 Charleston release 2014, blown away. Finished the evening with an extra 109, and enjoyed Robusto Trinity and the Ninfa, and made some new friends. Can we do it again?

Enjoying a Lonsdale with my morning coffee. I love the sweetness in this cigar and the musty earthiness brings balance and is a great combo. The complexity of this cigar as it progresses is engaging. I love that my favorite vitola ended up being my favorite blend! This gets me excited for the BR Dalia. I imagine that cigar will be a cut above this one, which seems a very tough task, and, if true, I will not miss my Partagas 898's when they are gone... even just this Lonsdale scratches that 898 itch for me. I'm stoked that Rob and Hamlet decided to start this project and they have clearly found a top notch team for the Fab 5 factory! Well done all around! From Rob to Hamlet to the factory managers to the rollers to the tasting panel. Thank you all for the hard work and passion put into these blends!

The N2 Piramide is one of the most enjoyable cigars I have smoked in the three and a half years I have been smoking cigars (apart from Fabrica 5 almost exclusively Cuban).

Spada Gorda with Ross on a chilly afternoon. First MOFO for him and he was impressed. Especially with the value for money. He brought a convenience store Macanudo with him and when I said the MOGO SG was an equivalent price he smiled.

Warmed up in NC so Jax and I figured it'd be a good day to try my first Spada Gorda, four days post-delivery. It announced itself immediately and is exactly what a want out of a cigar. I can't wait to see what the 30 day rest period will do. Tell the team I send my gratitude!

An outstanding Corta Suave yesterday paired with a couple of cold lagers. This one came from a sampler pack (back in February, I believe but not sure) and there's not one negative thing I can say about it. Just an excellent cigar all around, and LOVE the size too.
