El Presidente Posted August 23, 2025 Posted August 23, 2025 Di and I, lunch and cinema movie Sunday. We haven't had an "at the movies Sunday" for a while. Can you recommend a current/recent cinema release movie?
MooseAMuffin Posted August 23, 2025 Posted August 23, 2025 Weapons if you want a thriller/horror. I really enjoyed The Naked Gun reboot as well. 3
JohnS Posted August 23, 2025 Posted August 23, 2025 Good choices. Hmmm...I really enjoyed the original Nobody film with Bob Odenkirk. Nobody 2 sounds good indeed. If you like John Wick, you'd certainly like Nobody. 3
ElLoboLoco Posted August 23, 2025 Posted August 23, 2025 Fantastic Four was pretty solid, if you are interested in that type of the comic-book superhero genre. My older kids made me go but honestly enjoyed. 1
potpest Posted August 23, 2025 Posted August 23, 2025 Weapons if you want a thriller/horror. I really enjoyed The Naked Gun reboot as well.Surely not
Lucas Buck Posted August 23, 2025 Posted August 23, 2025 Caught Nobody 2 a few nights ago. Enjoyed it almost as much as the first one. Great cast, fun dialogue and just pure unadulterated entertainment. 3

Just saw Weapons the other night. That was fun and novel movie. Worth checking out for sure. Saw on TV though, not at a theater. 2
BlackIrish Posted August 24, 2025 Posted August 24, 2025 I saw the Jeff Buckley biopic "It's Never Over Jeff Buckley". If you're a fan of his music, it's brilliant. If you're not, it's just really good. https://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/its-never-over-jeff-buckley-documentary-film-review-2025 1
