Back from vacation, right into life at 100 MPH. Daughter has a swim meet, my son has his first soccer match of the season. School starts in a little over a week, game on.

Getting a few cigars in when there aren't gale force winds ripping through the small smoking section on this cruise. Started this trip with low expectations...turns out they were very realistic. Not my kind of vacation.

Not a particularly interesting weekend ahead for me, so instead I’ll include some of my favorite finds when I was visiting Germany not too long ago.

Immature? Yes. But at this point, maybe I’ll never grow up.

We just arrived at our vacation home in Steamboat, Colorado and I had a new snowboard waiting in a box in the foyer. My wife’s first words when we opened the door “ay dios mio, ANOTHER snowboard?!!!?” I have had a ton of cigars arrive recently too so she has luckily had plenty to “ay dios mio” about.

Out for breakfast. Storms blowing through all weekend in Perth so out for breakfast. Yep tired of acai bowls and eggs. Chicken burger and fries down town. Very disapproving from the girls.

Yard sale this morning getting ready for the bigger one next weekend when the World’s Longest Yardsale comes through our town (thankfully, I’ll be out playing a Top 100 course at that time). Then a bunch of yard work. Now enjoying this break from the heat with a Sir Winston, Rusty Nail, and Women’s Open replay.

It's been raining for three or four days and quite cold in my part of the world. So the weekend was great for not doing much except for noticing that the pool filled up to the brim by 50 mm or 2 inches!

A few great cigars enjoyed this weekend while helping my wife prepare for a late summer rummage sale. Standout was a ‘97 ERDM Grandes de España. Stupendous.
