After badminton sparked a little El Principe in the gym... Those are great moments, smoking outside in public. I remember sitting in the bleachers in the Central Park Ball Fields in NYC, as well as at Yankee games. I'm glad that people can still find a place to go in public and relax. 4
Popular Post Lucas Buck Posted July 19 Popular Post Posted July 19 This is just plain mean! 😅 You’re gonna make me cry Brother. When I started smoking there were so many venues where you were allowed a cigar. Even living in Utah at the time you could smoke in bars, clubs, coffee shops, restaurant patios, outdoor concerts and sporting events, parks, outdoor malls, ski resorts, festivals - hell even the airport had smoking lounges. All gone. Where I live now even less choices. I’ve thought about opening a lounge which is allowed in North Dakota just so I have someplace besides my yard to smoke. 4 1

BoliDan Posted July 20 Posted July 20 They've banned smoking outdoors in some cities in my State. I had to go to Boulder for work. Brought some cigars to smoke in the park. Found out it was illegal and had to drive to the town over to smoke. Absolutely ridiculous. 2

You should have brought your weed instead. I'll bet that hasn't changed. 😁 1 1

And really well kept for being a major college town. Love wandering Pearl St in search of good food and patio seating beers which is bountiful there. The smoking ban is too much though. 1

BigGuns Posted July 27 Posted July 27 Great thread…would love to see more examples from anyone, anywhere (as I sit safely in my SoCal backyard smoking a lancero where no one will give me the stank eye). 1 1

Glass Half Full Posted August 14 Posted August 14 But they all have to be great ones like @LaoFan is lightning up! This happily reminds me of when my wife and I and friends were in beautiful little Ljubljana a couple of falls back. To my wife’s dismay, I offered and a friend and I lit up a pair of well aged little Cohiba Panetelas, which we enjoyed on a cafe table outside the small hotel. The woman who ran the bar very kindly came by and then made us some espressos. When she returned with the coffees, I asked if she minded, pointing to the little cigars. “Not at all!” she replied. “It smells wonderful.” (I enjoyed that my wife got to hear that ) 2

Unfortunately it looks like he isn't coming home as he is pretty much bedridden at this point. We are lucky he is alive after what he went through. 9
