Lend Hamlet and I a hand ;)

Building a figurado/perfecto.....your preference in terms of size/blend.

Numbers represent gauge. First number is at the cap.

Assume 6 inches in length (thereabouts).

This will be a Nudies/Desnudo 2026.

Gracias

I remember during an interview with You and Hamlet, him recalling a free hand roll (maybe i'm misremembering) flying pig/Butifarra type cigar that he used to make for Sir David Tang. Anyway, short story shorter, I saw these come up in an auction in the UK about 6-7 months ago from a relatively well known cigar enthusiast in the UK....and I thought "god they look just like Hamlets described those cigars!"

My question is this...Can Hamlet...'Name that Pig?!' Can he tell just from an image, if he was the likely roller of these cigars? I was sorely tempted to buy them, and am still regretting that I didn't.

Having smoked about 20 of Hamlet's Flying Pigs. IMO these are not it. His are far more tapered. The foot is almost flat as well. Wrapper wise, they look close. Vitola seems a bit off. With that said, I'm looking at one, medium-res photo here. Maybe someone else can chime in?

I'm willing to take that as a no. And jealous to boot. Hats off!

No problem at all if we had a size.

Love the look of these

Looks like a 48/50 tapering up to a 54

Here's one of mine for comparison.  A 1 inch difference. From what I understand. Hamlet used to roll these for someone in Saudi Arabia with the promise that he wouldn't roll it for anyone else. Mine are 2010's, yours is a 2008. Perhaps that was the earlier iteration you got your hands on? He maybe elongated it so he can stay true to "not rolling" it for anyone else?

I'll gladly taste whatever you send...  LOL.

Tell Hammy he needs to do Lanceros again.  :looking:

I’ll always go coffee over caramel, but you already knew that.

Can you combine the best of both?

That is pretty much the dimensions of our Flying Pig to be released late this year/early 26.

I have promised Cliff that we would head back to Charleston for an event/release. This is the cigar I have in mind.

Mine’s a tad shorter, 160 mm / 6 1/4’’, with cepo 50/52 at the head and 58 at the foot.

Would have to check dates but I mean to recall these were about the time briefly before Hamlet left the island.
