Love a Good doc but I love movies that much more.

I can certainly appreciate a good plot, but I honestly don’t recall the last time I watched a movie. Give me a well made surf/sailing adventure film with an exotic soundtrack - like “Calypte” by Torren Martyn - and I’m all in.

Give me the escape of a great movie, but they seem to be far and few between now. I think you're more likely to run across a great documentary than a good movie nowadays. But if I have an option of a great one of either, I'm going to the movies!

Yeah. ! Some amazing documentaries out there If you haven't watched When We Were Kings take a look. Plenty of really good sport documentaries that put your head in the game. I for one prefer a good doco.

westie, when we were kings is truly brilliant. i am overall a movie guy but i do watch a lot of docos, often not as thoroughly as i should. but a good movie is a fine thing.

that said, i have probably watch years of David Attenborough docos and similar stuff.

I have to lean movie, but my mood really impacts that. I have been particularly enjoying some of the docuseries on netflix on Golf/Rugby/F1/Tennis and others. They seem to keep my attention and give me some insight I never had before.

Haven't voted yet. I prefer good based on true stories movies. Unless it's sci fi. Love a doco too. 

Quite liked The Penguin Lessons. Even though all of the filler story was quite lame. Flamin' Hot was ok too 😁

But a really great documentary wins these days. I wanted to watch Welcome to Earth, but very put off because the fresh prince is in it.
