Cigar smoking times

How long does it take you to smoke different vitollas? I smoked a Monty number 4 tonight in what was probably only a half hour. Seemed fast, but tasted fine, and I enjoyed it. Just curious. 🤨

A PC usually takes me about 75 minutes unless it’s loose and/or dry or windy outside

Almost always depends on how it's rolled but you can be certain that if I have a small window the cigar will be tight but fantastic tasting. Had to leave almost a third of a beautiful Montecarlo a couple of weeks ago. I'd been smoking it for an hour and it still had at least 20 minutes life in it but I was being summoned.

The Petit Coronas (Monte 4, RyJ 2, etc) take me about 60-75min. Piramides (Monte 2, Partagas p2, etc) usually around the 90 min mark. Robustos (RyJ short Churchill, Partagas d4, etc) 60-75 min. The shorter ones (~4 inches, rg 40-50) even take 45min. Have had one Double Corona, took a bit over 2 hours, haven’t had any Churchills yet

I'm a turtle when it comes to smoking. I don't think I've ever smoked any cigar in less than an hour. Most cigars, regardless of size take me 1.5-2 hours.

I smoke slow as well. I can make a Robusto or PC last well over an hour.

Same. Pc, Robusto 60-90 mins. Petit Robusto on the go now looks like it will last just over an hour total.

I find I smoke pretty fast compared to the other people so a PC (like a PL) can take me 40-50 min.

An Epicure No.2. is closer to 70 min for me.

I'm slow as well:

• Petit Corona: 45-60 min
• Robusto: 75-90 min
• Churchill: 120 min

Most of the people in my group are 15-30 mins faster than me. I view it as a money saving advantage. 🙂

I find more correlation between construction vs smoke time than Vitola vs smoke time. Give me a perfectly constructed/ heavily packed Robusto/ Hermoso 4 and a bottle of cognac. I can smoke that cigar for 2+ hours. But here is my average smoke times off the top of my head.

Minuto 45-55min

PC: 60-80min

Robusto: 70-90min

Piramides: 100-120min

DC: 150-180min

PC and Robustos take 60 to 70 minutes, a smidge longer if I'm with a good friend and being chatty and a smidge faster when I'm watching Man United crap the bed...

Comparatively, I smoke slow, but it’s my normal pace…I never feel like I’m rushing or intentionally taking my time. That Monte 4 is a good 90 minutes easy. I’m smoking a D6 right now and just passed the hour mark. No relights or breaks or anything, just chilling with some Tequileño Platinum and watching some bison while they go fishing.

Only way I could possibly make a Monte 4 last 90 minutes is a 30 minute nap at the halfway point!🤣 Salud!

Thanks all for the comments. I got so busy I forgot I posted this question. It seems I smoke very fast. I don’t like to relight and I think that has a bit to do with it. They’re Cuban so a touch up or two is to be expected.
