BrightonCorgi Posted June 12, 2024 Posted June 12, 2024 Talk about pricey. 3 cigars in a presentation & price like that are unlikely to be smoked by many collectors. At 450 chf, what else could someone buy as a gift? Impressive bottle of wine or whiskey. 1

Puros Y Vino Posted June 12, 2024 Posted June 12, 2024 I hope Habanos gets taught a "lesson" by seeing these move slowly out of shops. 1
Jimmy2 Posted June 12, 2024 Posted June 12, 2024 Smoked Partagás Línea Maestra Was very strong and had a unique flavor ! Would think a leaf I never smoked before or had more of that Leaf in a cigar I never had. Did not taste like a Partagas and maybe it’s not supposed to be ? Before criticizing this cigar please try one as I did ! I was gifted 5 to see what I thought of it over the course of time aging . Like I said was very strong and unique flavor .. And I would say it was enjoyable but this cigar needs a little age so it will mellow out . That’s saying something as I always said cigars do age but it’s does not mean they get better . But this cigar has what it takes to age and I think it will excel into something special .. This will be a special cigar down the line right under a BHK for a present day cigar . Had BHK at least 10 of different sizes so I understand and know the flavor profile but not comparing them! Regardless if it does not have Partagas DNA or does ! it was a very interesting smoke .. There are still some hidden gems to be found .. unfortunately it comes at a cost most of the times these days . I will smoke another in about a month to see if i still am correct on what i just wrote . Will i stick to cheaper CC that are just great smokes well of course as I am not wealthy .. 👍 2

Yeah...tough to justify even some full boxes for that much. I don't think I could imagine doing it on 3 cigars. And here I was thinking it would be tough to even pull the trigger at $70 per. 2
Ford2112 Posted June 13, 2024 Posted June 13, 2024 I've been waiting to see this flop. They are out of their minds.
SUP8333 Posted June 13, 2024 Posted June 13, 2024 I bet they are going to be cosy neighbours to the Trinidads on the shelf.
PAOKARAPANTOY Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 Today they showed up in Germany. But only the samplers of 3 cigars for 450€ (around 480$). I guess they will age well on the shelves.
Don Candido Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 I had to get a 3pk which I did from an LCDH. I just tried the Origen. Based on what some are saying, perhaps this was a dud. It is immature, bland and burns uneven. I'll report back when I try the others, but if like this one, they need years to maybe get to a decent flavor. If they are all like this, regardless of price, I'd smoke an 8-9-8, D4, E2, P2 and Lusitania before an Origen. I have to think there are better examples out there, but I guess if you are looking for a recommendation, I'm not so sure these are worth even sampling. 2
wine65 Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 Had an Origen and thought it was fantastic. Full flavored, loads of sweet spices and sweet tobacco, more refined than a young regular line Partagas. As for the premium lines I’d take one over a Behike any day. Worth the $60+ price tag? That's another question. 3
JohnS Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 PARTAGÁS LÍNEA MAESTRA AND ITS THREE EDITIONS September 6, 2024 - Press Release On 11 July 2024, Línea Maestra, the most prestigious edition of the Partagás brand, was presented in Sofia, Bulgaria, by the Habanos distributor for 12 Balkan countries, Kaliman Caribe. For the occasion, Habanos fans and especially fans of the Partagás brand gathered for a gala dinner at Sofia’s Boyana Residence. This new Línea Partagás highlights the unique origin (Origen, cepo 46 x 154 mm) of what is considered to be the best tobacco in the world, the knowledge and tradition that make tasting Habano a ritual (Rito, cepo 52 x 168 mm), and the master (Maestro, cepo 56 x 132 mm) who does everything possible to create these masterpieces for Habanos lovers. These three vitolas delight the senses not only with their innovative format, but also with their refined taste and elegant appearance. The novelty of this new line is the format of its head ‘Tapered Head’ format, as well as the elegant blue colour of its presentation. It also stands out for being the first line in the Habanos, S.A. portfolio to be made with 100% tobacco from the municipality of San Luis, the epicentre of tobacco growing in the Vuelta Abajo region of Pinar del Río, giving it a complex flavour and preserving the brand’s unique character while offering a new level of sophistication. The new Línea Partagás will be available from 17.09.2024 in Casa del Habano and from 24.09.2024 in Habanos Specialist Switzerland. Edit: sorry was thinking about a different cigar. Thanks for the review, a shame it wasn’t good. But any cigar produced nowadays SHOULD NOT need to be aged years for it to be enjoyable. That’s ridiculous, especially with how much they cost.
westg Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 52x 168. Perfect size for me. The pricing is crazy. Yet to see them in Aus. Will try at least one if we cross paths and they are in fact available in singles 2
Lt4-396 Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 It's quite interesting to see massive price cuts on these boxes when they literally just hit the grey market. Who would of thought that there wouldn't be lines of people to buy a $90 regular production cigar. Curious if they will roll less to meet the little demand or just let them sit around for years.
unaslob Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 I enjoy most of Partagas vitolas. Think pricing was in line with the Cuban hype that had been around for past few years. Seems like things are starting to cool down. Hopefully these come down a bit. Paying $150 per stick to sample is insane right now for a regular production vitola. Especially when an SD4 will likely out smoke it at ~ $30 a stick.

I concur with @NSXCIGAR on all accounts, especially regarding the lack of any similarities with the numerous other lines of Partagas that I've smoked. However, it was a super pretty cigar. I haven't smoked a ton of Cohibas, but I got a lot of Cohiba vibes e.g. silky, creamy, a hint of wangy tanginess that borders on something vegetal/leathery maybe. It was rolled fairly well and was very firm with a beautiful 109 bullet cap. Slight combustion issues in last third but didn't seem to impact flavor too much. I wouldn't mind trying another one in 3-5 years just see if there are any changes due to aging. But I have no intentions of revisiting if I have to pay for it at $US70 each...unless it would make me cooler and more popular in the eyes of others. t 4
