Punch Ninfas were always highly regarded in their day and have really become sought after in the last 10 years. 50 cabs are much less common than dress boxes as well. I would have guessed they'd go for $3,500-4,000 so $4,700 isn't that surprising. Some ERs in 50s like RA 40 Carat and QdO Selection Royale are going for around that. 

I remember in 2009 a 1492 humi with 40+ cigars sold for $6k or thereabouts. How times have changed.

The ninfa is meant to be both wider and longer ... the Bible says a panetela larga is 28 ring gauge and 6&7/8" long while the ninfa is 33 ring gauge and fully 7" in length:

While I have been smoking cigars for 30 years, I have never desired a cigar this size. Please educate me as to the attraction of a 33 ring gauge cigar, and it's positive attributes. My comfort zone is typically 42-52 ring, but of course the 38 ring Carlota is excellent.

My sizes are 28-42. Usually great flavor and concentrated, From an aesthetic stand point they look more elegant and classy. I do find the larger ring gauges a bit gaudy personally, though I've enjoyed a Behike, just it be great in a lancero size. My favorites are the La Glorias MDO 1-4, RG Slenderellas, Punch Ninfas, Cohiba Lanceros, Cohiba Corona Especials. Love me the Skinnies

ooo I can't wait either, Too many non cubans are large ring gauge. Ninfas are right up my alley
