Happy 4th of July!

OK I have got in a tad early but blow and behold most of our US brethren will be well and truly "on it" by the time I posted this on the actual day :rotfl:

  • What have you got planned for 4th of July?
  • What are you cooking?
  • What are you smoking?
  • What are you drinking?

All photo's of the prep, the day, the shenanigans go into the draw for 3 Nudie samplers to give away :spotlight:

Just post up here.....and have a great day!  :D

Started with a 10 mile bike ride right out of bed. Then my wife cooked crepes with Nutella and strawberries. Now a cigar and coffee. Later there will be burgers and fries

You lost me at 10 mile bike ride. Sadist! 😂

You sound like a superintendent I know. I swear he can find fish in a bathtub. Damndest thing I've ever seen.

I do see folks fishing off of the bridges that line the trail so I am sure that is true.

Rode 50 miles on the bike this morning. Now, just grilling these veal and sheboygan brats.

One brat will "wash" the bike ride! A good Sheboygan sounds good. Always bring a bunch of fresh brats and sausage back from northern WI every year

Finished dinner a little bit ago. My wife made these pecan pie bites for dessert. These things are awesome, too many will have me needing the Fat Bastid competition much sooner emoji23.png. Now a cigar and a bit of rum.

My mom used to make those every Christmas. Very good indeed!

And they say you can't teach an old pig new tricks!

I'm not sure I believe you didn't know about that one before me though.

Anyway we're in the same boat today--near disaster with a Monte WE saved by the bathtub brew glue:

… me and my storage fetish…. I don’t have a lot of busted cigars. I used to just make the best of the little nicks and smoke them. But I can take a good tip when one presents itself.

Fired up the smoker for ribs, salmon, and chicken. Pasta salad and fresh cucumbers out of the garden on the side with grilled strawberry pound cake for desert. Worked on replacing my old firepit and putting down some fresh mulch. A couple of cigars from FOH to end the night.

As you can tell, fireworks don't bother my little guy at all. emoji38.png

Its like a war zone here in Lees Summit. Still illegal on KS Side?

No, but that doesn't stop anyone. I saw somewhere that Shawnee declared them legal this year, which is right next to us. They don't bother me though. Let people have their fun.
