Sir Diggamus Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 This cigar is a colorado in color some bumpy areas and a couple of pronounced veins on the surface. The aroma at cold and the dry draw both have a fruit note with a hint of barnyard. Pairing this with Santa Teresa 1796 Rum. The first few draws after I light the cigar are fruit and a musky twang. A little sweetness comes into the mix, at first like a sugary dessert type sweetness, but it quickly becomes rich honey. Draw and burn are fine as of now, the ash is black with just small areas of white. A little cream adds to the flavor profile, while the honey remains, but moved to the finish. The cigar is medium in body. Just as the first 1/3 finishes up a nice roasted almond note emerges. Very good! As I get into the 2/3 the roasted almond note sticks, it reminds me of glazed Marcona almonds I used to pick up at the Fresh Market. The flavor profile continues much in the same way the rest of the 2/3 with dabs of cream here and there. The last third sees the almond note take a backseat and is only noticeable on the retrohale and finish. A sweet cinnamon note comes in and the sweetness in the background is more sugar than honey now. Also a little citrus on the retrohale. This cigar has kept a few surprises for the end, which is very nice. It finishes with a mix of these flavors to the nub All in all it was a fantastic cigar. 92 3
