Popular Post MoeFOH Posted May 24, 2023 Popular Post Posted May 24, 2023 Many of us Aussies particularly remember Tina for the NRL promo back in the 80s. Rewatching it just now, seems the NRL was specifically trying to increase its female viewership lol. Also, notable for a time when tobacco sponsored a national sport. How times have changed! RIP - to a great entertainer and a much loved character. ❤️🙏 6
Popular Post NSXCIGAR Posted May 24, 2023 Popular Post Posted May 24, 2023 My mother saw her perform in the early 70s. Front row, like 6 feet from the stage. Said it was great. 7
Popular Post cigcars Posted May 24, 2023 Popular Post Posted May 24, 2023 *Shock of all shocks. I also recall her making "Beyond Thunderdome" in Ozzy Land with director George Miller and Mel Gibson too. 5
MossybackR Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 One of the greats that I saw in the early 70s — dynamic!! 4
99call Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 What a performer, what a woman. To think that she could perform like this, whilst going through a personal hell, is just bonkers. 4

BoliDan Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 I was at walmart and the guy in front of me was talking about her death with two employees, and they had no idea who she was. They weren't highschoolers either, easily mid 20s. I said, y'all never seen Mad Max: Thunder dome? Nope. I can't even. 1
Ryan Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 I first saw this video just last year. There are very few good Beatles covers, maybe three. And this is one. 1

I mean, in my day we had to go to the library for the internet and it would only give us the weather and stocks!
