Tunkat92 Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 Sorry but I did not get a picture of the cigar before lighting. Cold draw on this stick was chocolate and barn yard with a slight resistance. Initial lighting: Upon lighting this stick, the flavors very chocolaty with an oaky and pleasantly tannic finish. Throughout the first third, note of vanilla and earth came through occasionally. Smoke was medium bodied and very pleasant. 2/3: The flavor profile was pretty much the same as the 1/3. Intensity may have picked up a bit. 3/3: The chocolaty notes started to take a backseat but never faded out completely. The oak flavor turned less vanilla and more tannic. Still very pleasant and enjoyable. Complexity definitely picked up in the last third as did the strength. Occasionally I would get more earthy and lemon notes. Final Thought: This stick was very memorable. The draw was good and smoke output was pleasant. The flavor profile was balanced and pleasant. Unfortunately this is the only stick I have but will look forward to revisiting this if I get a chance. 3

The only other cigar in this vitola listed on CCW is the Ramon Allones Absolutos 22 EL, of which I have yet to see proof of life!
Chibearsv Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 Flavor description sounds like Fonseca 1, but the ring gauge in the description doesn't match, but the photo doesn't look like a 47 either. I'll stick with it. 🤔 Fonseca 1
RDB Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 Sounds like a Monte, and the wrapper looks classic Monte. But I’ve never seen this vitola from Monte… 1
joeypots Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 MC Herederos. That’s the only 47 x 6 ⅜ cigar I can find.
Edicion Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 Sounds like a Monte and with this odd vitola I guess the MC Herederos as well
Tunkat92 Posted March 6, 2023 Author Posted March 6, 2023 @westg You nailed it there. Its the Montecristo Herederos. The vitola definitely made it easy to pin point. These are definitely all class and and Monte profile. I see these making a place in the Marca 1
