Backyard Poultry Was Never So Alluring!

So my sister-in-law just started a PHD program in poultry science and will be spending the next two years on chicken farms.  My wife decided to surprise her with a subscription to an industry magazine, of sorts.  

You know, give her something to talk about with the farmers.  

First issue of her subscription came today, and it appears quite tantalizing.  🤣

One thing that is no joke. Here in the US egg prices have gone haywire. A dozen eggs is almost $5 usd. If it gets worse, they may become a luxury like Habanos!

And now chickens ( locals not the big hatchery's ) are not laying. People are blaming the chicken food.

I read today in the news that people from California smuggle eggs from Mexico.

They are saying the avian flu has killed tens of millions of egg laying hens. Not good.

And the government is also. To help prevent the spread. Uh huh. Just like hogs during the depression. It will be fun to hear when the truth comes out to see if I'm right....... again.
