Your best cigar experience of October 2022/Last 30 days? 

Trini Coloniales for me. I am in a run of cookie dough and coffee Coloniales which are batting 93/94 every time I light them up. NOV 19 box. They have been my star cigars of October 2022 without a doubt. 

What was your best cigar experience of October 2022 /Last 30 days?

The stick I posted in the daily smoke thread was a real surprise. It was reminiscent of a great R&J mixed with a larger format Partagas. Dark cherries, cream, and spices that made it taste like a Dr. Pepper, with hints of dark chocolate deep into the cigar. It was Nicaraguan, so there was still a nice amount of pepper. Contemplating going back and snagging a bundle to see how they mellow out in a couple years.

Without a doubt, it was a RAT may 2020 Punch Punch Tubo. Markedly better than the previous three I smoked from the box...

Bunch of great smokes this month, but a La Trova (BSM JUL 21) and Churchill (UEB OCT 17) were clear standouts.

I had a really shitty day last week where everything seemed to go wrong. I needed something to cheer me up so decided to take a slow paced stroll with the dog and some Cuban tobacco. 

I pulled out one of the Siglo III procured in five packs from 24:24 that was from 2017. The cigars so far have been utterly sublime, and this one was no different. 

Oodles of honey, cream and caramel with some barnyard. It burned perfectly, smelled beautiful and tasted of what I dream Cohiba to be. Utterly alluring.

Probably the best run of Cohiba I've ever smoked. Pure class in a stick.

If only the dog behaved as well as the cigar....

Tough call, but I smoked a PL Encantos and shared one with my neighbor last week. Phenomenal cigar. Classy and perfect balance of sweet, forest floor, and twang. I’ll be bummed when they are gone.

Nothing fancy but I was surprised by this cigar. It was too good and balanced to be true!

A 2008 Siglo 2 . Rich dark and so amazing. It just kept getting and better. I had to follow it up with the perfect follow up cigar . A party short

Each night during the last week of September and first week of October I enjoyed a 2018 MC3, from 5x5 boxes, while walking or just sitting in a piazza and sipping wine in Lisbon, Sintra, and Tavira, Portugal and in Seville and Barcelona, Spain.  Great trip with fine nightcap.

My best cigar was a Unicos from a quarter box I picked up here. Dont keep track of box codes on these but guessing it was a 2020. Outstanding and very balanced. Darkest wrappers have seen on them.

An aged AJ Fernandez Enclave. I had this one sitting for about 5-6 yrs in my NC bin. Cello looked nice and brown. Took it for a spin last week and it was great! I was worried it might be past it's prime but it fired on all cylinders. Very balanced smooth smoke. I really enjoyed it. I don't think I liked it much fresh. It had this sweet cinnamon cedar flavor profile that worked well.

The BTO SEP 12 Behike would have been the easy choice but this EMA ABR 08 Diplomaticos No. 4 took it. I think this is the second time a cigar from this box was my cigar of the month.
