I packed everything that I would need to take a drive up to Raleigh, NC. I double checked everything so that we would be ready to rent a new house here if we found the right place. 7 hours drive up, load in to the hotel... I pulled a weeks worth of sticks out of my cabinet. Each carefully chosen to meet any possible occasion. All place carefully placed in a ziplock baggie.

That is still sitting on the kitchen counter at home in Jacksonville!

Given that this situation is untenable, I'd send someone to the kitchen to do an extraction and get a FedEx overnight going to your current address. It's the only option.
