Tube or single case for a DC?

I use any old aluminium tube for carrying a robustos etc with me when I go out but size wise this is not an option for a DC, what do you guys recommend as a cheap option?

Don't really know if there's really any options for something that long.

Most 3 cigar travel cases won't hold anything that long that I saw when I was shopping them around Christmas.

I think mine maxes out at 7", and that seemed to be pretty standard.

Shop around and you may find one that can hold close to 8" though

I'm usually carrying several extra cigars for friends or a longer trip and don't care that much about looks so I use a Tupperware container with bovedas. They come in all sorts of lengths and sizes.

The Dunhill Churchill size leather cases will take a DC. They come in a two finger version. I’m sure there are more economical single options! I have a neat telescopic plastic tube from a local B&M, but no brand on it.

This works well for extended travel. Just got an Adorini leather roll for more immediate use that we are looking forward to using.

I got mine for Christmas from Amazon myself (not the same one you linked though). Didn't need anything fancy. Holds 3 Cigars up to probably 7 inches and is cedar lined which I like. Very snug fit on the 2 halves too.

For a roughly $20 Amazon cheapie I'm pretty impressed with it.

Used it just recently when I went to Yellowstone for 3 days
