Popular Post Ryan Posted July 8, 2021 Popular Post Posted July 8, 2021 JJ Fox Dublin unsealed a box of 1982 Hoyo du Roi today. This box arrived in Dublin in 1982 and has remained, sealed, in their keep since then. A couple of small cracks on the feet of one or two cigars. They look very nice though. Fox is putting them up on Bond Roberts in the next day or two, if anyone is looking for a near 40 year old box with provenance. The video is quite nice. 6 6
KCCubano Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 Me as well. Great video!! Do they randomly pick boxes to remain sealed for decades?

To be honest, it would be more accurate to say that (back then at least), boxes were randomly forgotten about for decades! 1
Texwrangler Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 I’ve been with FOH long enough to recognize and know the meaning of the color dots on the sides of boxes yet I’ve never seen a green one. Guess green represents ‘green with envy’?! 😜

KavalanWhisky Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 Oh man, the first Birth year box I've seen, might have to put a cheeky bid on these...
La_Tigre Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 We recently unsealed a box of 1999 but were too naive to realize the box was sealed until after doing it… 🙄 The cigars inside were gorgeous with sheen like these in Dublin. Just amazing for a box that old; you just do not expect it.

MPS Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 Damn that was just beautiful to watch. What a gorgeous box of cigars too! The whole time I’m thinking how hard it must be to not just shove your nose inside and take a big whiff, I can only imagine the aroma. Looking forward to the auction very much.
Ryan Posted July 11, 2021 Author Posted July 11, 2021 This box is now live for auction. Good luck to the bidders! https://www.bondroberts.com/product/view/5587
