La_Tigre Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 Alright all you heavy hitters! A few of the latest 24:24 have us wondering... Who has boxes of every regular production cigar in a marca? Who has the full run including LE and RE? And who has the trifecta of reg, RE/LE/LCDH and discontinued or as doggone close as possible? Let’s go...batter up, Cohiba style! Since Cohiba is quite deep in regular production and limited release. The curiosity is how many “collect them all” so to speak and how many are just deep on their favorites. —-as to us, we gotta find and commit to an aged box of Siglo I and a couple 10 ct boxes of the BHK line.

Probably the biggest complete reg prod marca I have would be Trini .. 7 reg prod (did I miss any?), while I also have the la trova + '16 Topes. I'd love the travel humidor thing but wayyyy out of my budget. Don't have the '10 RoboT either. 2
El Hoze Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 Never thought about it but I’m reasonably close on Cohiba. I have at least 3 boxes of all regular production, some I’m much deeper on. Also have one box left of 1966 (wish I had more) and one box of Talisman (not a fan). I don’t have any of the maduros however (not my thing), or Novedosos (never really seen them available and not interested enough to hunt them down). 2
Chibearsv Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 I've got: Siglo I, II, III, IV, V, VI, Medio Siglo, Coro, Talisman, Piramedes Extra, Coronas Especiales, BHK 56, and of course Esplendidos. 3
Puros Y Vino Posted April 29, 2021 Posted April 29, 2021 Cohiba wise I have most of the lines represented. But in terms of full boxes. Siglo I / II / VI Linea Classico : CoLa / CPE / Robusto / Exquisitos / Cohiba Piramides Extra EL. 2006 Piramides / 2011 1966's. BHK 52 / 54 / 56 4

CoLa / Sig II / CPE. I enjoy the rest but I find the Siglo VI to be hit and miss and I'm pulling from 3 different box codes. Overall the Esplendido is one of my favourite Cohibas. I just can't find a full box without paying a limb for it.
Popular Post JohnS Posted April 29, 2021 Popular Post Posted April 29, 2021 I feel awkward about this as this may be misconstrued as 'boasting' about what one owns and value-wise I detest that as superficial. I guess I've posted the following below as a testimony to what one accumulates in this hobby after being active in it for a while. So if it helps others... BHK 52, BHK 54, Cohiba 1966 LE, Cohiba A, Cohiba Coronas Especiales, Espléndidos, Lanceros, Medio Siglo, Pirámides Extra, Robustos, Cohiba Robustos Supremos LE, Siglo I, Siglo II, Siglo III, Siglo IV, Siglo V, Siglo VI, Cohiba Talismán LE and Genios Note, some of these I own 1 stick (BHK 52, Cohiba 1966 LE and Cohiba A) and others half a box (like Talisman and Robustos Supremos LE). Siglo V has been the hardest for me to source of regular production over the years and I only have around 9 sticks of those. Coronas Especiales is a vitola I've always felt I've lucked out on for some reason and so I haven't been active in pursuing that one. I only have 9 sticks of that. Favourites? It's hard to look past what enthusiasts class as the flagship vitolas of Cohiba: Esplendidos, Siglo VI and Lanceros. I also favour the Siglo III and currently have a soft-spot for Medio Siglo. 8 1

Certainly not meant to be a boast thread and can see the hesitancy for posting the information. We just thought it would be interesting to see who’s collecting versus buying for utility. As creatures of habit, we mostly would buy up on preferences. For this instance, we can say without a doubt the Siglo III would be the most stocked and V would be the backup (when available). Esplendidos and Lanceros would be stocked splurge items. The rest wouldn’t be really necessary from a utility standpoint. Now, it is nice to have the range to use for trading and the occasional comparison. We want to hear from the BOTL that power through the range on the regular and enjoy the differences between each vitola. We want to hear from the BOTL that are completionists and want everything to contrast and compare. We want to hear from the BOTL that wouldn’t be caught dead with xxxxx vitola from the range and why. 1 1

Favorites in order are Espys, V, III, and CPE. I'll keep buying and stocking up on all of them. I think all Cohibas are pretty good but I wouldn't buy more I or II or Medio Siglo. They just don't pop enough for me. Talisman and BHK haven't proven better than Espy or CPE in my opinion so why overpay for them? Coro, Sig VI, Sig IV, and CCE will all be in inventory for a change of pace.
LordAnubis Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 I dont chase a marca i chase vitolas. For example i have every robusto in production today (minus the open), And one box away from every produced petite corona, and have every "half corona" produced today. 1
Bijan Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 I have Lanceros, CCE, Esplendidos, Exquisitos, Robustos, Siglo I, II, III, IV, V (pending), VI. I do smoke the Panetelas if I get them, but not worth it at the usual price vs Siglo I or Exquisitos. I'm deepest on Siglo II, CCE, then Siglo III. I have none of the maduros, none of the Behike, no Piramides Extra, didn't quite enjoy the Medio Siglos I had and don't like Petit Robustos that much in general. Novedosos I don't know anything about. 3 hours ago, La_Tigre said: We want to hear from the BOTL that power through the range on the regular and enjoy the differences between each vitola. This is me, at least the second half. Though I don't have Cohibas that often I do cycle through the vitolas and enjoy the variety. I really don't try to collect them all, especially the special releases. I have a few I got in a trade, one 1966 and one DC. 2
