99call
Found quite a few interesting points in this, on Candela, the "strong steel clips" (anything but!), and the suggestion that these were good for boating etc. I've seen them as an option now on numerous cruise liner menu's. I dread to think how many got smashed in high seas, i hope they had barred edges to their storage shelves. 3
Chibearsv
You know, when I hit the slopes, I often like to carry a bulky ceramic jar of cigars in my backpack.

I hear you, it's not a Christmas holiday, without at least one visit to A&E to have glass shards removed from you spinal cord
J-Slay
How are the newer versions of these jars? I've seen them but havent smoked a Noellas from one.

Personally I have no idea, as I've never had a new one, the old ones are fabulous. I've read quite a few reviews of the new Noellas, that suggest they are pretty powerful, and a bit wayward/needing i good few years sit down. None of the reviews seemed to suggest they were anything special. If it was me, I would see more value in a box of new Mag46, and hunting down an empty vintage jar of Crystales as a souvenir. They're terrific cigars. Flavorful and great combustion.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good these were from 2018. I smoked every one of them between January 2019 and Summer 2020! Have another jar unopened from the same trip... 1

Shame on the worldwide price, but in Cuba, they're dirt cheap.
