Tomasito Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 For what it's worth, all of it brushed off rather easily.... 1

Colt45 Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 'Tis mold. If you've not already done so, this may be an interesting read: Link 1

dealsrme Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 If there’s none on the foot I’d put them to fire quickly. If there’s mold on the foot then it’s probably all throughout. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Be sure to store them at a low RH to help keep it from coming back, and check on them regularly. CHEERS Tiny bit on the foot. Wiped away cleanly. I will smoke it anyway.
Frozenbarb Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 This is the reason I always opt for unsealed and opened boxes. They could easily grab another box once that mold is spotted. 2

prodigy Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 I smoke it even if it's on the foot. Only way I dont is if its green, blue, purple, or yellow. White mold is fine, i just tell myself its actually plume. Never been sick and never been grossed out lol! Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk 4

Not sure is you're serious or not, but color isn't a reliable way to assess the toxicity of mold. The same mold can be different colors in different environments and "colored" mold tends to start out white. 1

I know guys that lick it all off before smoking it... show me one instance of someone getting killed from smoking a moldy cigar, and even then I probably wouldn't change my mind lol. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk This is kinda my thinking as well. There is mold everywhere. Countertops, carpet, in the air you breathe, mold. You just can’t see it. I would guess that if we took 50% or maybe more of our cigars and put them under a microscope you’d be finding mold spores. I’d bet everyone in this forum has smoked a cigar with some mold in it without knowing and has been fine. Of course I am speculating as I’m not a microbiologist. 2
prshah25 Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 I would not smoke this even if it wipes off.. Mold can cause damage to lungs.. You should send this crap back to the vendor.. my 2 cents..
