I’ll be taking a family trip to St Barts and St Martin in February.

Possibly Arizona in May.

The Hamptons for much of the summer.

And a family ski trip somewhere in the Rockies at Christmas time.

The good thing about having flown 35 years for a living is that after retirement you tend to keep things simple and concentrate on what's important. So it will be Cuba soon, then possibly Cuba ag

Day after the Solstice, I hit the road from Idaho to visit family in DC for xmas. Covered 2,500 miles in 2.5 days. Day 2 beat/set my new personal best - 1,150 miles driven in one waking day. From Chey

Northern Arizona where the canyon is isn't that bad but Yellowstone to me is second to none. Having said that, anyone interested in national parks should see it once, it will change you. June might be a bit early, but it will be sub 100°f

A bit early for what? Having been to both, what times of year would you recommend and why?

Bit too early for the heat, may and early June is perfect for the grand canyon.  Late August, September and early October as well. Yellowstone is perfect all late spring to late summer. It will be sub 100 except in the late june/july early August period

Ah. Well my vacation is early June so it seems like either would be perfect timing for either.

The Havasu Falls look incredible too..

My wife has business in Portugal this year (she's actually there right now) and will be headed back in June so I will join her there when she is finished up.  Hopefully in the late summer or fall we will be taking our annual trip to Key West.

To Seattle in March to catch Joe Bonamassa at the Paramount Theatre on the last day of his North American tour. A bucket list item for me.

The Paramount should be a fantastic venue for that.

With a 4 month old my options are kind of limited right now, first time parent i must preface, and i dislike crying babies so i don't want to be that person. This has really changed my life as far as travel goes in the short term. I am hopeful to at least get away close to Lake Geneva at some point with the fam and always get to Boyne, Mi around labor day for an annual golf tourney, beautiful maybe even god's country if you haven't been for golf highly recommended and I have played lots and lots of golf almost everywhere in the us and some in the Caribbean. If my son starts to act a little better then the options will open but only time wil ltell in the meantime I will live vicariously through some of you.

Just got back from Stowe, VT, did a trip to Dominican Republic for Christmas and my son’s baptism (Mom is from DR). Headed to Mt. Tremblant in Canada in two weeks following a business trip up there. Headed to Cortina in Northern Italy for some more snowboarding in February. Most winter trips revolve around snow for me as I live in Miami and get enough beach time at home.

Phoenix tomorrow for a week of golfing and away from the tundra.

Golf trip/football game trip to watch NDSU take on the Ducks in September too.

Probably a summer golf trip somewhere in Minnesota.

We're doing Big Sky Montana during President's Day weekend in February. I'm not much of a skier but it's our friend's 40th and the ski house migrated from Vermont to Montana this year.

I'm hoping to do Cuba in November, again. That will require the re-up of my Cuban passport. Yaaay! ?‍♂️

My wife and I usually do some big vacay during the year. We might do a few smaller vacations, including Mexico City. If we do a bigger/longer vacation we might do Paris or Italy in late summer.

@El Presidente if/when you come to NYC please let the local crew know. I for one would love to catch up with a great smoke and a drink.

Cheers all!

So jealous of those going to Hokkaido. As an avid snowboarder that is definitely a bucket list destination for me, too bad the wife isn’t on board...

If she likes crabs maybe you could use that to tempt her there

Day after the Solstice, I hit the road from Idaho to visit family in DC for xmas. Covered 2,500 miles in 2.5 days. Day 2 beat/set my new personal best - 1,150 miles driven in one waking day. From Cheyenne, Wyoming, to eastern Indiana, I drove 4 hours, slept 45 minutes, rinsed, lathered, repeated.

After a week or so in DC, working on my vacation, I put together enough extra gas money to justify extending my journey. Spent a day in Charlotte, NC, visiting friends and playing disc golf, then headed to Florida for a surprise visit to my family here.

After 4 days in the sunshine state, I've spent a lot of time with family, and played some awesome disc golf. It got up to 80° yesterday. I had to buy shorts. ?

Today, I begin my return trip to Idaho. After this trip, my dog will've visited 40/50 states. After (hopefully) a short trip to Hawaii at some point, we're going to hit the rest of the states we've yet to visit, and finally, in tandem, check off our shared 50th state visited, with a trip to the Black Hills and Badlands of South Dakota.

If nothing else, 2020 is 'The Year Of Travel' for me and my trusty pooch. Gonna be rackin up a lot of miles this year.

Hope everyone else is enjoying time with their families, and looking forward to an awesome 2020!
