Any box codes for QDO 54 to keep an eye out for that are good? Since it came out on top.

Good question ??

I just acquired a TOU because the TOU 50s are primo excellente.  I plan to light a 54 up very very soon.  Will post review.

I didn't see a bad batch. MSU would be my preference.

Wait...you saw more La Trova than JL 2?  Or did you mean quality wise the JL2 was on the cusp?

I was referring to quality ;)

Saw good quantity of La Trova in the first quarter and again recently.

Wow, I would not have guess there would be not many replies on this thread with other people's opinions and thoughts.

Again, I Can't believe the H. Upmann Connossieur A did not make the list for 2019! ?

Simply, 2019 was not the best of years for the Connie A in terms of quality. It certainly wasn't bad ...a bad Connie A is a rare thing indeed!!! However in terms of wrapper quality, it certainly went backward. Between 2019 and 2018, close to 12% less PSP/HQ per mastercase over 2018. It was one of only four cigars to go backward over 2018.

Did Partagas P2 go backward as well? I was surprised they didn't make the list this year. From my recollection they were at the top of the 2018 list.

Well then, I am glad the latest box code of the two boxes I got of my beloved H. Upmann Connie A were "BRE OCT 18". ?

And since I do not touch a cigar until they have at least 3 years (more like 4 years) of age on them I do not know how they will smoke but the wrapper color and the smell is incredible!

Is this list in reference to appearance and construction or does it include how well it smokes?
