Got this from the FOH Aged program RYJ Churchills didn't realised until I was packing my humidor because it was full.

Is this a beetle hole or just damage? I put it into the freezer immediately and checked all my other cigars. Only this stick has a hole.

It's him

Quality control missed

Aged cigars are subject to re-inspection and rejection

P.S. I thought it is Anejados. All of this concerns the Habanos Anejados program

That looks like a beetle hole. Is this an Anejados cigar or PCC aged? Either way I wouldn’t worry, pop them in the freezer for a while then smoke away.

Makes me quite a bit concerned about the PCC aging program...

Beetle. I would take the usual precautions, but also wouldn't be overly concerned.

Only one hole in a box of 5 year old cigars...I'm guessing it happened before freezing.

Beetle definitely.

If there is only one hole then then it happened before freezing or the rest of the box would be on its way to dust.

I had one in a recent Punch 48. Rest of the box was fine. I cleansed with fire.

Beetle hole....At least you have one near the foot. I had one towards the end (near the band) of my cigar. When I was smoking it...I had to hold my finger over the beetle hole to get a good draw.

I felt like I was playing the Clarinet....
