nKostyan Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 Monte2. Aged 7+. Hard as a piece of wood. 100% ligero. Full strenght. Smoked half slowly and delicately. Couldn't anymore. I don't need another cigar. Nicotine killed me anyway. Couldn't sleep till 4: 00 in the morning....
FatPete Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 Out for a picnic on a sunny day, I like to finish it with a cigar. Took a Cohiba Robusto-so plugged my cheeks hurt from sucking. Perfect Draw at home. Result-really pissed off. ?
Stump89 Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 An LGC MdO4. Thing just continued to unravel as I smoked it. Figured it was too thin to attempt to take off the wrapper so it got pitched. Sad times because they are great cigars.

captain Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 I had a Coro that was so plugged and knotted it wouldn’t draw and tasted like burnt hair...
FHFinster Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 Just cleaned out my “un-smokable” drawer from the wineador. (That Uzi is probably constructed just fine, but to me it’s un-smokable”)
tsuh Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 A few months back I had to toss a 2013 Trinidad Reyes not for the construction but the taste was just off. It had a really bitter note all the way through so I didn't even get five draws in. Luckily it was just a dud and the rest of the box is smoking beautifully. Whew!

Mine was like $40 but has saved me more than that amount in tossing cigars. 1
inter4alia Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Boli PC ETP Mar 17. Total tent peg. Box as a whole has been great before this one.
Head83 Posted June 2, 2019 Posted June 2, 2019 I tried smoking a RyJ Taco on Friday nighy sitting by the fire in my backyard. The thing was a tent stake. After 20 mins of ramming a perfect draw in the thing, I tossed it into the fire and grabbed a Sir Winnie. Glad I did, it was amazing.
slowsmoke Posted June 2, 2019 Posted June 2, 2019 This could become the longest running thread in FOH history, second only to the daily smoke thread ? Thank you Habanos. 1
BeerPimp Posted June 2, 2019 Posted June 2, 2019 It would be a interesting experiment to dissect cigars that are plugged to see whats going on. I think the standard way is to cut the end off the cigar below the cap. Then unwrap the wrapper, unwrap the binder, and carefully open up the filler. Would be interesting to see what is causing this from inside the cigar. I am would think its the way the binder is put together. but it also may be a weird leaf in the binder causing this.
