CigarScentedBeard
I am a self admitted idiot when it comes to some things. I've tried and tried and yet I can't update the small picture, the one that appears next to comments. Everytime I try to it says file too large, from my album, straight from a camera and when I try to use an url. What am I doing wrong?
JoeyBones777
I have the same issue. Hopefully, someone will shed some light on the subject.
Bri Fi
I had the same problem. I googled how to shrink an image and a website came up. You upload the pic and it resizes it for you. Download what it produces and then upload into your profile.
aphexafx
Accepted file types gif, jpeg, jpe, jpg, png · Max file size 0.05MB You'll need to reduce the file size of the image you wish to upload. .05MB is 50KB. Just use an image editor or an online thumbnail generator, etc.
TheGipper
Easy way, use an online resizer, like (there are others also): https://resizeimage.net/

IanMcLean68
You don't need to download anything. You can edit and resize images in Windows with Paint, which is built in. On the Mac, you can do it with Preview which is also built in. For the forum I usually resize images to have both horizontal and vertical pixel count to be around 1,280 or less. This will cut the physical size (i.e. megabytes) of your image down, and seems to work well for the forum. The problem is your images are too large in size directly from the camera. unclepauly25
I just figured it out today. Take the picture you want and email it to yourself, when you hit send it asks if you want to resize the picture. Open email and save image to photos. Then use that for your forum picture. I did this on an iPhone. Hope this helps ?
MountainMilG
Second for MS Paint, I usually resize mine to 50-60% to avoid the 90 degree tilt. Did take me a bit to get my mini pic to be a good size though.
PapaDisco
You can also resize through the "Preview" app on your Mac (if that's what you've got) and usually whatever photo viewer came with your Mac or PC can resize a picture file.
