LGC Inmensos must be the unicorns of CC!

They're out there if you look, but the La Trova is not.

I'm also looking forward to the SC Prado. Hoping HSA will get the El Principe blend into a larger format!

Boys, you are making it more complicated than it really is (not going to reply to each of the above, some argumentation is confusing things). First of all: Sure there is such thing as a "LCDH&amp

Yes, thanks @Fugu  your interpretation all makes sense to me. I wasn't aware that the HS program had come out of 5th Avenue or that the program had begun that early, so with those details I think we'r

Thanks! Is El Principe the only best in San Cristobal de La Habana? If yes, it is definitely tragedy to me ?

I feel the same that I just can get more Connie As that are firm reliable great cigars with the same amount of money instead of Connie Bs. Frankly, I have already liked the pre-light scent of Upmann Connie A (no harshness at all like LGC MdO No. 4)! Cannot wait to try ?!

I don't think HSA did a good job at all with the Connie B. Keep it aligned with the Connie A. Make it a HS release, not a LCDH release and keep the price consistent with the Connie A per gram. The Connie B is much higher priced for some reason, which is difficult to justify for a slightly milder cigar anyway.

IMO, the El Principe is the best the marca has to offer in terms of a "total" cigar. And by that I mean character and consistency. Perhaps that is a result of few models being offered in the brand, but small as it may be, it is and has always been the flagship cigar of the marca for me and many others.

The marca which only minuto can carry the flavour profile makes me sad a lot. How does El Principe compare to Partagas Shorts (also wonder Upmann Half Corona)? I really enjoy Partagas Shorts as an excellent quick spicy smoke!

I actually saw them and way too expensive than necessary IMO. Will wait until they are available on 24:24 sales. ?

All the Minutos are good. The El Principe is my personal favorite for the most part. I have had some BCJ that blew me away, but great BCJ are hard to come by. Last ones I had on that level or near it were 2013-2014. I think when BCJ are on that level, they are the best Minutos, but are practically nonexistent.

I'm a huge fan of RASCC as well. Partagas shorts are very good, but I never loved them for some reason. It's a very well-rounded Partagas with great balance.

The HUHC, RyJPR and MMC are all good also. The HUHC is a more Connie 1-like smoke. Maybe a bit more woodsy tones in there. Haven't had a bad one yet.

You can say a lot about Cuban cigars, but they without a doubt produce the best small cigars in the world by far. Many of their smaller cigars are absolute gems that blow away some of the double-banded dollar gobblers.

Petit Coronas are always great choice for everyone ??

New Cohiba coming to LCDH's. Probably will be like La Trova in price and availability.

COHIBA LCDH IS ALMOST SIMILAR TO MONTE DE IN TERMS OF SIZE! ANOTHER ROBUSTO EXTRA COMING THROUGH!! ?

Another LCDH cigar that I haven't seen anyone bring up here is the PL Picadores. It's another confusing one because it doesn't use the double band, but it is a LCDH cigar. I think it's a little too early to add to your wiki project, but I could see this cigar becoming a staple of the PL marca.

I picked up my first box a few weeks ago. I forget the exact code but it's 2017. They are some of the best looking cigars I've ever purchased. My guess (hope) is that they'll be around for a long time. PL needed a robusto in my opinion. I know the petite corona is similar in size but buying cabs isn't for everyone.

If SC or RA offered a Petit Corona I'd be happy to tout them. Minutos are all we get.

LONG LIVE PETIT CORONAS! SC Mareva is also good addition in my opinion ?

PL Picadores is one of cigars which LCDH turned into regular production cigars like Partagas Maduro No. 1 (No. 2 and No. 3 added as regular production as well). I really want to try PL as well!

I don't think this is correct. PL Picadores was a 2014 regular production release and is a permanent lineup addition.

Party M1 was originally a Habanos Specialist release until 2018 when the Linea Maduro was created with the announcement of the No. 2 & No. 3.

By the way, how does Partagas Maduro compare with Cohiba Maduro 5?

SCDH series were interesting.  The first run was the best in think '07?  Neat cigars.  Ive been out of them for a a few years.  I think all the LCDH "exclusives" have been good at a minimum.

It is a HS release, just like the ConA. As for pricing... depends on the market you are looking at. Still, not a cigar I feel in any way attracted to.

Also a HS release. That shiny HS-band is new, first used with the Punch48. Earlier releases came without a second band (with exception of early Torreones, which bore - by mistanke? - the red LCDH-band).That's also why the ConA doesn't have one. I posted a complete list in another thread some time back, since CCW seems also be lacking some info there. Will see, whether I can track that down again.

There is a site selling them for 230 a box.  Picked up 2.  Little higher than the 150 I was paying in Cuba, but not too bad.

That’s actually not too bad. I am off to Cuba in March and hope to find a box.
I might have to hit you up over PM for that vendor.

I have had some aged Murallas  (the huge LCDH exclusive figurado) that were some of the best habanos I've ever had — but yes the El Principe is probably the best in the current line.

Here's the post from another thread, regarding Habanos Specialist (HS + Casas, that is) releases.
So far we got, released every year since 2012:

2012 - SC Torreon. (initial runs came with a LCDH band, probably by mistake..., later ones without)
2013 - ConA
2014 - Picadores
2015 - Maduro1, since 2018 regprod, forming a new line together with the No.2 and 3
2016 - Punch 48 (first use of the new HS/LCDH band as a second band)
2017 - ConB
2018 - SCdLH Prado (the second HS-release for SC already)
2019 - Novedosos
