Popular Post Drguano
I love a good prank and they don’t get any bigger than Orson Welles broadcast of “War of the World’s”... His preferred cigar appears to be Montecristo and probably an A which suits his stature. I will stick with the Dantés. Speaking of which, I fired up a stick from a lovely box (LAU DIC 16) and immediately got into some lovely chocolate and nougat essence. I recall Rob predicting these would need a few years down but although I don’t doubt they will improve they are tasty now. Orson did say “no wine before it’s time” but I cannot find any reference to cigars before their time. This one is ready now. Nice burn, no rough edges. I love the way it feels in the hand, good size. Perhaps a bit long for the weather but very tasty. 10

THEMISCHMAN
Great pics. I smoked one recently from a TOR box and it was an overwhelming amount of cocoa powder/dark chocolate from start to finish.

TBird55
I have been holding off on the Dantes, as Rob said they need a few years down. May try one tomorrow, now...

Is your avatar Brian Blessed, or do you look just like him? Every time I see your avatar, I flash back to the fear I felt when I first saw him, as the Duke of Exeter, grinning, drenched in blood, as he swung that mace in Branagh's Henry V. Can't get that picture out of my head. Then, in all its strange workings, my memory always segues to Zero Mostel in The Producers, seducing geriatric benefactors. Another image that has brought me out of what was otherwise a comfortable deep sleep, on more than one occasion.

That perpetual grinning smile and hearty laugh!
