Well at this point, I can't keep up with all the ERs. This one was just released for Costa Rica and Nicaragua only. Can't imagine how many they will sell. 100 boxes in 2 years. Maybe? Hahaha. Wasn't Costa Rica in the news for being the #1 country to sell counterfeit Habanos? Yikes.

I think tourism in Costa Rica is not weak. Maybe they will not sell so slow.

And never forget the flippers. At this very moment LCDH Costa Rica is receiving a lot of phone calls from Europeans vendors.

I’m a fan of visiting Costa Rica. ¡Pura Vida! I have visited the LCDH near the US embassy in San Jose a few times. I wanted to purchase a box of these and contacted the LCDH. I was disappointed when they said they would not ship these to me. Oh well.

Got a couple of boxes today with a friend that was in CR. It is not a 100 boxes release, quite on the contrary it’s a quite common 7500 boxes release. That number indeed is gong to take quite a while to sell IF they are sold only in CR. 

It’s a nice looking cigar tho, will take more detailed pictures later for you interested. I will burn one when they turn one y/o. Meanwhile they will keep having “Pura Vida”.

Yes, the vitola would be interesting.

There is a picture of a box beside a Fonseca but I couldn't figured out which Fonseca was so couldn't compare them. They look like a double robusto.

Nice, 7500. So in the next 2 years I'll have to go back lol I love RA regionals, though I wish they were boxes of 20-50. A double robusto would be nice.

A certain LCDH in Europe is well known for acquiring REs from around the world, sometimes to the detriment of supply in their intended market.

i purchased a box when i was in CR. its actually 54x150. same format as the Montecristo Eagle - Geniales is the factory name. i will post some pictures shortly with a review.

I'm seeing these pop up at European vendors closer to $170. If it is a Geniales or Canonazo that's a relatively excellent deal considering recent ER pricing trends.

Personally, I'll stick with the $13 RAG, a known quantity with a sub-50 RG.

Really sad what they've done with Ramon Allones. Even if the cigars are good quality, the mass of releases has no effect on me appart from a giant yawn. Strange to feel sick of the sight of any given cigar band, but RA does have that effect on me these days.
