A Taco review :D

I have a few to put up in a couple of days but I could use a few reviews as these are too fresh for me to try. For those who have had one or more, chip in with a few comments please :ok:

What sort of price should we expect?

More than the Capuletos, if other region pricing is an indication.

Smoked one last week. Price in Belgium is app 20€, I think.

Not very good in determining exact flavours, what I can confirm is that cigar started quite well, second third was ok, final third way too much harchness. There maybe potential in there, but way too early to sloke

I haven't even looked at pricing them as yet. Will do so in the next couple of days.

I have three left......letting them sit for the next 25 years.....maybe I’ll hand them down to my nephews kids....worst tasting cigar I ever smoked. Seriously.....going to let those 3 sit for a couple of years.
That's odd, the few I've sampled have been some of the absolute best cigars I've ever had. Like smoking a piece red velvet cake.

Mine were from mid 2017......had a bitter flavor like young tobacco. Maybe they need to sit. But they were not enjoyable at all.

The one I tried was typical RyJ but DELICIOUS. I have to really be in the mood for RyJ flavor notes...which doesn't happen often, but that cigar really wowed me. My friend brought back 3 singles from a shop in Italy. I have 2 left, plus a box in my OLH here. That will sit for many years, I imagine.

Are we talking about the RyJ Tacos or Capuletos here?

The subject in this thread is the newer Tacos.

From the posts from Rob it seems he hasn’t offered them yet and is looking  for membership feedback from those who have smoked them.

Yeah that's my bad--i've derailed the thread. Back to the Tacos please!

Tried them several months ago, but I did not find them to my liking. About a month ago, I attended a private event where these were given out. Unfortunately, the cigars were so bad that almost everyone had pitched the cigars no more than 2 inches in. A couple commented about how horrible the construction was. However, most complained about the lack of taste.

They look amazing.  Funny how some just need to rest.  That is my assumption with these.
