I was really happy and relieved that I decided to drink Springbank 12 CS Batch #25 (obtained during family trip in Taiwan on last month) and Bunnahabhain 12 CS 2023 to celebrate this wonderful moment. Springbank 12 CS Batch #25 is still tasty as the one I had during PSD4 review at Ash & Bloom that I wanted to keep sip it as much as possible I could, much like nubbing tasty Cuban cigars despite being newly opened. In contrast, Bunnahabhain 12 CS 2023 was still nutty, leather, and spiciness driven, but tasty enough to make me satisfied. I hope that I'll be able to post moar Kimfessions Series soon! Taiwan's whisky scene and bottle availability as good as anywhere in the world. 2

I was surprised that the bottle availability was really good, and there were lots of interesting independent whisky bottlers like Or Sileis while I was traveling to Taiwan with my family. 3 1

Popular Post Lamboinee Posted May 8 Popular Post Posted May 8 Glad to see they have KFC in Barbados. Unfortunately, I think they only used about 3 or 4 of the 11 herbs and spices. There zero McDonald's here, just Burger King and some crapola called Cheffette. Luckily the local food and restaurants are all excellent, I'll wait until I get back to the states to indulge my fast food craving. The "rum train" and the distilling operation at St. Nicholas Abbey. The rum is good, but a little pricey. Fun fact, despite its name, St. Nicholas Abbey has never been affiliated with any religious order or cloister. I learned that the crapper was actually invented by Mr. Crapper. Fascinating. I got to experience the Havana Club Maestros and it was delicious. Prior to this, I had only tried regular Havana Club. The Maestros was much more refined and complex. Unfortunately, I had to redact some of its labels to ensure safe passage through customs.....rum? What rum? Rumpelstiltskin? My new Canadian friends at my new favorite local pub. Just think....in a few months these Canadians will all be fellow Americans. I taught them the words the US National Anthem as a friendly gesture. The plant and wildlife is amazing. I finally spotted the magnificent Bajan Barrell Warbler. A close relative to the Chicken, it dines on a diet exclusively of left over chicken refuse. Also, first time seeing a Tropical Furburger Muff Palm. Reminds me of the 80s. My new pad. 9 2

The Perrier-Jouët Blanc de Blancs (in the champagne bucket in the foreground) did not take long to get 'polished off' as they say, trust me. 15

Popular Post Connoisseur Kim Posted June 6 Popular Post Posted June 6 Had wonderful Scotches from my Single Malt Whiskies collection on this Tuesday to celebrate my party's 2025 Korean presidential election victory which I had longed for many years. Compared to the first time I sipped Glenallachie 15 Years, it gravitated towards to more licorice, sweet spice, caramel, woody, leather, H.Upmann chestnut, honey, ginger, and cocoa notes, while spiciness was significantly reduced. Although I now prefer Springbank 12 CS Batch 2025, I still think it's one of the best daily Scotches regardless of beginners and seasoned whisky aficionados due to its approchable flavour profile. I hope that I would be able to puff on classic long and skinny CCs like Montecristo No. 1 and hop in FOH Discord Virtual Herf soon since it's a perfect timing to enjoy an epic victory cigar with FOH BOTLs for rejoicing such a wonderful moment like this . 10 1

Thanks, @99call! These Scotches are exceptional, and this reminds me why I really like Single Malt Whiskies as much as I enjoy Cuban cigars 😃 Springbank 12 CS Batch 25 never bores me and it always tastes fantastic without being aggressive despite of being 57.2% cask strength 👍 1
