I’m afraid if I counted my wine or cigars I’d give myself a heart attack

I use wine inventory software but I’m out of room. I fear counting cigars. Especially when I’m considering a Master case purchase.

Serious acquisition disorders. Watches on top of that too. I need to liquidate some of those. I really love them all but wear probably 3 per month.

I'm pretty new to the game, but after honeymooning in Havana, my wife and I brought back 7 boxes and I picked up another from a 24:24 thread

Well now you are in the vortex that’s almost impossible to escape. Especially with a wife that’s apparently an enabler for gathering Habanos.

If you must you just keep burning through them and when a new box or 3 arrive, you claim they are the honeymoon cigars and they mean so much to you.

The handbag and shoe comment cracked me up. At least I’m done buying clothes as I’m retired. It’s great to be a one suit guy with a blazer/sport coat if needed. The suit is for weddings, graduations and funerals. Gun metal grey works for all three.

I sure as Spit need to stop buying wine! Booze too.

I'm glad I'm not as advanced as the rest of you hoarders!  I do probably have around 45 boxes though.  Seems like an awful lot, but then I can always justify the occasional email to Di....

Beers...well, let's just say I have a better selection than the average bomber cave at a decent big box store.  Thankfully I'm not a wine guy.  My most expensive beer is about 35 bucks for a 750 ML bottle.  That's about my entry level price point for wine I'd consider drinking when the mood strikes me, that is, if a gran reserva 2008 Spanish Rioja is not in stock.

I'm lucky in that she grew up with only brothers, so she's willing to partake in the fun.

Plus, she's a Cali girl so I fully expect her wine collecting to greatly eclipse anything I can do with cigars.

Well over 300 boxes. I don't count. Come to think of it - more close to 400 now, I guess. Not all of them 25ers but the 10ers and the 50cabs should even each other out.

Guy I work with when we were discussing my cigar collection asked how many month's worth of cigars I thought I might have based on consumption. Responded I'd have to figure that in years.....

A gentleman would never ask.

It is an obscene number......

Not,however, as obscene as Mike has.......

Thought I had around 30 boxes, or so.
Just did a quick count.
It’s 56. Plus singles and customs.

If I don't count them, they don't count.
