So @99call and @PigFish, is this friendly disagreement in a thread about Ken an homage (to him) or what? The irony is simply delicious!

Ken is released mid month. The burden of being a mod has been removed from him

True, but I think a little less Greek god, a little more Hannibal Lecter

first, it is not completely true that i had forgotten about the forum and rob had to remind me i could leave my own personal robben island (and so as there is no misunderstanding, i merely use that analogy as a man unjustly punished, although if rob is listening, i have of course, learnt my lesson, whatever it was supposed to be).

next, many thanks for the support while gone. i missed you all!! almost all.

finally, rob might recall that i actually asked to be relieved about a week before i was forced to point out some truths and i was told no. therefore, the lesson from all of this is surely that if only rob had listened to me in the first place...

fun to be back, especially now that i no longer have to be "responsible". only joking, rob.

always fun, ray.

and always happy to look at anything like that, for or against. mind you (and i cannot believe you raised it on day one), if the last month has not at least convinced the deniers to consider their position, nothing ever will.

Strictly for the sake of interest. It does not need be an 'on board' affair. PM me your email or I will see if a PM can take an attachment.

Why could John Browning not chamber his original 1911 for a 10mm or similar cartridge?

The 38super is inherently more accurate and the additional mag cap negates any more "stopping power" the ACP may hold over it.

... I would normally be interested in this topic, being a fan of the 38 Super, 40S&W and 10mm (aka Bren Ten), but I hate to be at the root of chaos so near Kenny's pardon from the penal colony!

Pardon the pun, but KG appears to be 'loaded for bear.' And, while we are on the topic of bear, if you did not know; bear, NRA members, firearms owners and climate deniers might be on the menu, firearms are not! -LOL Rules of the house!

It's not fair to bait Ken. but not for the reasons you might think. He could easily bat away your deluded thoughts upon climate change, BUT!! you must realise this!........with every "Hulk-Out" another one of Ken's gifted t-shirts bites the dust, and this just isn't fair.   I man should not have to pay the price of loosing his wardrobe, simply for being right.

Welcome back, Ken! Let us know how bad Matthew Wade has been lately and what you think about the Wallabies kicking 9 times in total in that first Bledisloe Cup game where they were behind to the All Blacks 54-6 at one point. Did you catch the 23-23 all draw against South Africa? I couldn't believe it, the Wallabies actually took every opportunity for a three-point goal on offer, even that marvellous 46 metre effort in the second half.

john, i've been crook for a week. just when i start to feel better, you bring up that!

had the iceman (and if ever anyone was named in irony) been able to kick those penalties in the bledisloe, we might still be in it.

i note how quade was torn apart for stuffing a kickoff in the world cup. foley manages three metres and the discussion by the commentators is on how we must improve but not a single mention of foley. i did say to a mate he was truly the worst flyhalf ever to play for australia but then i was reminded of david knox. and then lloyd walker. it is a low bar.

what is hannigan doing in a wallaby jersey. he is not fit to wash one. no need to wash kerevi's - he is never going to dirty it tackling. people want izzy to back to league. why on earth would he. he bounces around like a big puppy, completely unaware as to what he should be doing to be a real dog. why go to league where you would have to tackle and work hard? hooper? a dimwitted pillock who is the greatest show pony to ever play for the wallabies. sure, he likes the spotlight but get in and do the hard work. you are the captain. not a fraction of the player that you'd find with pocock, david wilson, chris roche, george smith, poidevin.

as for the scrum?????

and seriously, dempsey plays a few bog average minutes of super rugby - good enough to be a wallaby. simmons is not wanted until he swaps to nsw and then chieka can't reward him quick enough. had a gutful of cheika. anything in blue must be good. refs are always to blame. we are much better than we seem to be. christ, who can remember us winning a test? australian rugby is an utter shame now. and as for the aru and the force, i normally have good blood pressure but not if i even start to think of that cesspool.

we now aspire to mediocrity. but don't get me started.
