Popular Post El Presidente Posted May 3, 2017 Popular Post Posted May 3, 2017 Now that was a great comp I have to thank all contestants who stuck with it through to the end. The progressive weigh in and stories were nothing short of inspirational. Many thanks to Lisa for tabulating all the weigh ins and keeping general order. iI isn't an easy task I have only listed the top 5 weight losers and that is in no way taking away from the host of members who have lost 4/5/6/7/8/9/10/11/12% of body weight. Have a look at the numbers of the top 5 5. Dizedean 13.55% of Body Weight Lost. 4. Buzzard 15.08% of Body Weight Lost. 3. Stinkhead 18.94% of Body Weight lost. 2. Newkarian 21.74% of Body Weight Lost. 1. Seattledude 22.42% of body weight lost. Seattle, shoot me an e-mail for your box of cigars. While you are doing that, let us all know how you did it! For the rest of the top 5, shoot me an e-mail for a sampler. You all deserve to be rewarded. Congratulations again! Rob 6

Popular Post seattledude Posted May 3, 2017 Popular Post Posted May 3, 2017 Wow. I am just about to head out to bed. It is after midnight here. Thank you Rob for good contest and timing was great! I honestly never thought I could do it, but one thing after another the last tipping point was the yearly check up at my doctor and some bloodwork. My sugar was high. It was still normal but borderline high and doc just simply told me that if I dont change my lifestyle of eating then eventually I will be diabetic. That was the day I went complete 180 and started my low carb/no sugar diet and eliminated many tasty things I loved all my life =) But for some reason it was not hard. Being born and raised Russian I love my potatoes, spaghetti, rice and all the sweets. Just had to stop and switch to healthy fats and proteins and geens. Also signed up with dietitian and physical adviser to get proper guidance (my health insurance covers the cost) and my wife joined me too as she was always healthy eater. She could not take my strict diet though and still had some bread and other carbs =) So this stage I wanted to lean out and drop as much body fat as I could . Next step is build some lean muscle and tone up. Last time I was this light was probably about 20 years ago when I was 17 =) I love how light I feel. Need new clothes and pants, but that is a little price to pay. thank you everyone and I am going to bed. 13

Fuzz Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Congrats seattledude! What a fantastic effort! And congrats to all the other participants. Regardless of how much or how little weight you lost, it is the effort that counts. I, for one, will keep going as I'm yet to reach my goal. 3

BuzzArd Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Congratulations @seattledude!! Nicely done!! I should have given you a better run, but like Rob, the bottle gets me.... So easy to eat the pizza the kids brought into the house after a couple (or 6) G&Ts.... With luck and more work I won't need to participate next year.... 1
