I got engaged last night after a blustery round of golf with a coworker.  Prior to golf, my coworker and I each had a BLT at the concession stand.  I drove to see my girl, did the deed, and we went out to dinner.  She was very happy (can't imagine why), and we had a lovely dinner.  Halfway through dinner, the BLT starts to severely disagree with me.  I had to take about 3 trips to the bathroom before the bill came.  Luckily sweetheart didn't notice as she was busy posting on Facebook.  However, it took me until roughly noon today to get the ol' GI track straightened out.  I had terrible visions of what might happen at the gym had I sidled up to the squat rack this morning, as is my Wednesday custom.

And before anyone jumps down my throat telling me it was nerves and not food poisoning, the guy I played golf with said he had to pull over by the side of the highway to "use the facilities" (grass and leaves) or else risk the imminent destruction of his leather interior.

PS, in honor of the Fuente family and their recent misfortune, we smoked 888 Anejos while we played golf.  They were a nice change of pace, though the 30 MPH wind kept blowing them out.

Congrats. From my experience, and that of my buddies, I've learned that as long as the rock is big enough, there is no wrong way to propose.

You know it may be a simple allergy to marriage. I think there is a test for that.

Congratulations either way.

I always enjoy reading beautiful heartwarming stories from sentimental lawyers.  Such a special day.  Congrats.

Can't wait to read the story about your first child's birth.
