Thank you to all who participated in the 2016 Blind Tasting comp.

Two winners this year who split the $500 USD credit prize. Contact Di or myself in the next month or so to get it done.

Congratulations to Greg and Rob for picking three out of five. Superb effort indeed

That last Double Corona was a Vegas Robaina Unicos OMR NOV 14. It certainly tossed quite a few of you.

A huge thank you to Greg and Lisa for compiling the results. As always, I couldn't do this job without them

Huzza!  And thank you!

I have to say the last one gave me fits -- it unfortunately was one of those laden with perfume/flower/soap.  Totally overpowering.  I was disappointed by that, but all's well that ends well.

Thank you Rob, crew, and other participants for such a fun contest!!

Congrats guys!

I am shocked by the cigar 5 reveal!!!!! Mine tasted exactly like a large Punch Punch and very much like the Punch DC I  had a couple of days later (to me although I was obviously wrong).  Exactly why this contest and cigars in general are amazing!

Congrats to the winners!  And thanks FOH crew for putting on a great competition!

Happy to close out with a correct answer and get in the 40% club :cigar:

Totally blown away to be lucky enough to get three right. Funny thing was, I felt I was guessing on the first two cigars, but I felt absolutely sure about No. 5. It's a dice game. But so much fun. Thanks so much to our hosts!

Congrats guys; I seriously regretted not entering this year. Looking forward to getting 0 / 5 on next years though.

Congrats to the two winners, well done! :2thumbs:

Surprised to see so many votes for the BCG for Cigar 3. About 25 votes for the Gigantes while only a mere 13 or so picked the RyJ Churchill. There must be something...?! I was thinking I could always pick the BCG from outer aspect alone....:D

Well done all. Thanks to FoH for hosting another comp. To the winners. You suck :nyah: .... Good job guys !

Always impressed with those that are good at this. It's always interesting to hear thoughts about cigars when all the preconceived notions and brand loyalty are stripped away too!

0 from 5 in 2015.

1 from 5 in 2016.

...by this rate I should be dominating in 2020!

Well now it's time for my big reveal.  I actually could've gotten all of them right but just to make it interesting I decided to go for an 0-5.  At the beginning of the competition I determined, based off of available Vitolas that the odds gettting 0-5 was actually around 600-1.  Even by complete random guess it's extremely hard to not to get at least one correct just by sheer luck.  So I challenged myself to not get any right, and I did it!   Victory is mine.  :bsmeter: :rotfl:

Seriously an incredible job to both winners, 3/5 is amazing!  Absolutely incredible even if just guessing.  A very humbling eye opening experience.  The last one was a real head scratcher to me.  Congrats to the winners--look forward to next year!

One can only do so if one actually knows and identifies all five cigars beforehand with absolute certainty... So, congrats mate! :jester:

Hats off to the guys that won and to all brave enough to enter...

HdM Epi2 is my favourite cigar, I've smoked many, enjoyed every one and thought I could identify an Epi 2 anytime.....

Until Rob put one into the blind tasting at Havanathon

I put my hand up for RAAS....

At least I picked a cigar of the same size :D.

Can we get a blue box if we get the size right??....

Less embarrassing than a whole line of red.
