OZCUBAN Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that i announce the passing of my mother in law Edith. A member of one of the pioneering family's of a Farming Town called Harvey some 200 km's southwest of Perth W.A Edith was one of the most unselfish and caring individuals I have ever met who did a great deal of work for the community and for numerous Charities, and some one who I can honestly say I was proud to have known ,and the best Mother in law one could ever hope to have . Mother of my Wife Lucinda, and her her brothers Ian ,Vaughn and sister Rhonda ,grand mother and great grandmother. Edith had had a hard life both growing up and also caring for her beloved Husband Bill who had suffered from a very rare and debilitating disease not dissimilar to motor neurone / Parkinson's disease After being in a nursing home for the last 3 to 4 years Edith quietly slipped away in the early hours of Tuesday morning to be finally at peace . gods speed and god bless you are finally reunited with Bill in a better place Thank you and good bye Edith you will be forever in our hearts it was an absolute privilge to have known you Steve 3

OZCUBAN Posted January 8, 2016 Author Posted January 8, 2016 Hi all On behalf of Luicnda and my self I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your kind words at this difficult time. Our next problem might be just actually getting to the funeral on Monday due to the severe bush fires in the area ( which is a major event ) I jokenly said to Lucinda on the evening of her mums passing ,your mum has passed and the gods have opened the gates of hell in the southwest ,not realising how bad it would become as we saw the fire as it had just started from the back of her brothers place in the hills beyond her brother is still fighting the fires for him the grieving will have to wait Thank you all
Elvis Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Very sorry for your loss. That was a brilliant tribute, I hope I'm as fortunate when my time comes. Prayers sent. 1
MIKA27 Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Hi Steve, apologies for my late post, I was unaware until having spoken with yourself last night. Condolences to Lucinda and yourself, my thoughts and love are with you both as always, what an amazing tribute. This is how both Edith and Bill are now, both at peace and reunited. Take solace in knowing that my friend, especially Lucinda who I am sure is hurting a great deal for her loss. It is always difficult when one loses someone they love so much. Remembering them often, never forgetting is what keeps them close to our hearts and knowing we too will see them again one day. Peace and love to you both, Love you mate. 1
