Which of the larger formats has the fullest body/strength for you? For the sake of the exercise let's focus/define the cigars as: Current releases 47 or over in ring gauge 160 mm or 6 inches in length minimum (Double Robusto + ) Non Regional. Current 2015 LE permitted. Cheers

SCgarman Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 Currently smoking an Upmann #2 from a LUB 14 box. First one, definitely on the fuller side and has a bit of strength. This is out of the box for me as I am a smaller vitola person mostly PC's and Robustos. Had to try something different as it is Thanksgiving day. Has the classic Upmann flavors that I get from the PC though.
Rye Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 Lately, after a bit of rest, I've found the Upmann Connie 'A's can be quite strong, but they're so damn smooth that it creeps up on me and I finish feeling that I've had a much deeper pairing pour then what actually was drank

Randolph Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 I enjoy a good Lusitanias - but seldom have time to do it justice. A good marathon of full flavour. However I think the H Upmann Sir Winston tops the league. I find the Paragas Serie E2 very inconsistent in its fullness - and I've also noted it does perform as well on the palate in high temperatures and high outdoor humidity. Randy

Flavor for days with body/strength a touch above medium. Love them both though with an edge to the BCG My apologies for the multi-edits and reposts...comments stand true but Thanksgiving may have gotten the best of me 1

Laxman Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Would have to agree with the Lusi then the BCG. The E2 from 2011 to 2013 OGA and MUR codes have been very full body and amazingly consistent. Have not tried the 2014 and 2015 offerings as I have not heard the same reviews of those years. 1
