HarveyBoulevard
When these popped up on the 24:24 recently, it promted me to take a look at the FOH reviews that had been done on these cigars. It looks like there was a video review in 2009 when they were 'still crying' as Rob put it and they were nicotine bombs that Rob wouldn't even rate. The next video review in 2012 was sans Rob but Smithy was in both and he seemed to feel they mellowed out a bit but were still rather strong. (this 09 video is one of my favorites) FOH 2009 Review: STA JUN 09 FOH 2012 Review: STA AGO 09 Six years on from production, and three years on from the last review, I was wondering what these were smoking like recently. I would love to hear your thoughts on the strength levels and flavors if you have smoked some recently.
Orion21
Perfect. They've come together nicely.
SofaKing
I smoked one back in August. I would say it was on the med full side however I wouldnt classify it as a nicotine bomb. It was my first and only but definitly has legs to age further.
Fuzz
Definitely not a nicotine bomb now. The last one I smoked was 2 months ago and it was medium bodied.
Jeremy Festa
Hey mate, uncanny you just posted this! I am feeling a #FiguradoFriday coming on. Text Rob earlier to query which I should pull form the locker this arvo, the RACF or the Cuaba Tradicionales? This is '09 vs '14. He said "leave the RACF a little longer." Now, I had my last RACF from my stock at home not so long ago, maybe two weeks ago, I also took a couple on holidays recently. Here--> http://www.friendsofhabanos.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=99094&p=622482 They are awesome by the way. They are punchy, but definitely not too strong. And "experts" say, they have more legs.
Fuzz
I won't be calling down the box in my locker for quite some time.
merc
I smoked my first ever RA CF two weeks ago, on an empty stomach to boot. Even for an occasional smoker like myself, it wasn't too strong. Very rich smoke, was tasting the fruitiness even when I wasn't smoking. At the end of it, I was definitely feeling the nicotine and needed to eat something, but it should be approachable now for most members here I'd imagine. El Presidente
very approachable now. I would leave them a little longer only because I am still hitting several rogue cigars from each box that are bulls at a gate. it has been a great journey with these and I am glad we called it right upon release. Puros Y Vino
They've settled down in terms of "power" but the flavours are very rich and pronounced. No "nic sickness" from them any longer.
rckymtn22
The RACF is my birthday cigar and had one last month. It was very good and not that strong.

Onelove
Last one out my first box. Hit and miss rate has been pretty good (read construction / quality issues) and I've enjoyed these immensely. All rough edges gone, good RA flavours, great taste of aged good tobacco. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
CanuckSARTech
Just did a recent review on them on my blog: http://lights-sirens-and-cigars.com/2015/10/08/cigar-review-ramon-allones-celestiales-finos-2009-re-asia-pacifico-ago-2009-oma-box-code-box-1947-of-4000-final-score-92/ Overall thoughts? I did specifically make a mental note as to how much smoother these Celestiales Finos have got. When they were first out, they were spicy and strong little bombs, that were somewhat harsh and hard to smoke initially. But, I did note that things have improved immensely. Still fairly good legs to come, and a definite cedar aspect starting to come to the forefront more, but definitely improving.
JohnS
I've sampled mine this week. OMA Ago 09, this had the typical grey ash, but is smoked really well. The only fault I had with it was the runner on the head, which I had to correct by burning the wrapper around it, but after that it was fine, not overpowering at all. Tasting notes? Well, it did have your consummerate Ramon Allones stewed fruit profile...in this case, think molasses with chocolate and cocoa. Also leather and aged toasted tobacco which we all know and love in aged cigars. The only regret I had was that I wished I could get more out of it! danny
The last one I had from my box wasn't noticeably strong in the nicotine department. But then again, I didn't think so when I first got them in 2011 either. I'm sure it was a different story when they released though. I also second HSA putting them back into regular production. Same with the Bolivar Brits. Mmm....

maverickdrinker
I enjoyed the one that I smoked recently. Really coming together nicely with the ability to continue to evolve over time. Those who stacked away a few boxes will be rewarded. A full review on my blog will be coming shortly.
shrink
2009 Ramon Allones Celestiales Fino: This was the first one I actually enjoyed, although I admit that my box isn't near "ready". The brazen strength, complexity, and unbridled potential of this wild animal is unlike anything else. I'll keep smoking 'em, but only every six months or so. A classic in the making.
