torsion Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Trini Robusto T (GLP MAR10) the infamous Mario box code, smoked last Weds night. I was caught smoking it in Central Park, however enjoyed ever last puff to the nub.
Habana Mike Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Smoked a few good cigars last month but a standout was the Eslavo. Even better than the Bushido for me.
smokeyjoe01 Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 The stand out cigar for me in September was a Behike 54 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
TomF Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 In September I smoked 3 or 4 from a particularly good box of HU Mag46 (LUB ABR14). Sadly I've only a few left from that box so I've been hoping to see some good ones on the 24:24 sometime soon (and yes, that's a hint Senor Prez). 1
mash Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 2001 898V. You folks that are buying these now will hopefully be rewarded if you can be patient. 2
dflan82 Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Sancho Panza Molinos from 2011! Going to be the cigar of the month for me until December and then I have to leave them alone! Sent from my iPhone I'm with you on this Jer! Damn these are good
earthson Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Don Arturo Gran Aniversario. Simply the finest Fuente product I've ever had! I don't smoke many NC - been there, done that and Havana flavors are what I gravitate towards. BUTT (and that's a big but), the few of these I've had top most other cigars I've had - NC or otherwise. They smell like cinnamon rolls!
CigSid Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 La Escepcion SF...damn good cigar. You are correct. Great cigars... 2
Scrubber Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 No doubt it is the CORO I had from a sampler from our host I bought a few months back. It really blew me away. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
Carts Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Probably the La Esception I had yesterday. Or a bolivar super coronas 1
Imjonesy Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 2012 Limited Monte 520. Sadly, only two left. Ah, Rob, just wonderin' ......
JohnS Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 2007 Cohiba Exquisitos. Rich leather, grass/hay, vanilla and creaminess with beautiful dense smoke (gifted by Trevor - many thanks my dear friend!) and the ash is indeed a dirty grey colour, with each ash-length approaching an inch-and-a half. Hard to find these days. This was a glorious little cigar! 4
atlharp Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 For me it was an H Upmann Natural Tubo from the 60's. Beautiful herbal flavors with just absolute balance. Exquisite.
atlharp Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 '06 H Upmann #2. I'd been saving it for a special occasion, and a glorious late September Friday evening on Lake Minnetonka was it. The cigar was awesome. ---sam I had one of those in August. Absolutely wonderful smoke probably my favorite overall Habanos.
backslide Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 I'll have to go with 2010 HdM Epicure no.2. What a delicious robusto.
Perla Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Had some very good smokes in September, but absolutely the best one was the Long live the King Jalapenos Style from Caldwell.
treberty Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 bnCould not stop smoking Upmann #1! A Libertador stole the show though... just stunning!!
kevn Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 I'll have to go with 2010 HdM Epicure no.2. What a delicious robusto. ...had one yesterday and couldn't agree more!
PointFivePast Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Had some very good smokes in September, but absolutely the best one was the Long live the King Jalapenos Style from Caldwell. DSCN5516.JPG I've got one of these in the humidor... might have to fire it up tonight! My best smoke of September was likely my first ever Partagas Short. Rich with just the right amount of spice, all in a small package so no long cold evenings on the deck. Not sure of the age on it but it was just amazing, especially considering the price. Runner-up would be a Cohiba Mini. I got a handful of them by way of a friend and fired up a couple... ended up smoking through all of them. Was surprised how much Cohiba flavor they packed for being smaller than a cigarette.
