'06 H Upmann #2. I'd been saving it for a special occasion, and a glorious late September Friday evening on Lake Minnetonka was it. The cigar was awesome. ---sam

2007 Cohiba Exquisitos. Rich leather, grass/hay, vanilla and creaminess with beautiful dense smoke (gifted by Trevor - many thanks my dear friend!) and the ash is indeed a dirty grey colour, with each

So many great cigars for me this past sept. Standouts are plenty, but the best would likely be an old Upmann coronas minor gifted to me by the great @Melies and equally as memorable was a fantastic

Trini Robusto T (GLP MAR10) the infamous Mario box code, smoked last Weds night. I was caught smoking it in Central Park, however enjoyed ever last puff to the nub.

Smoked a few good cigars last month but a standout was the Eslavo. Even better than the Bushido for me.

In September I smoked 3 or 4 from a particularly good box of HU Mag46 (LUB ABR14). Sadly I've only a few left from that box so I've been hoping to see some good ones on the 24:24 sometime soon (and yes, that's a hint Senor Prez).

Sancho Panza Molinos from 2011! Going to be the cigar of the month for me until December and then I have to leave them alone!

Don Arturo Gran Aniversario. Simply the finest Fuente product I've ever had! I don't smoke many NC - been there, done that and Havana flavors are what I gravitate towards. BUTT (and that's a big but), the few of these I've had top most other cigars I've had - NC or otherwise. They smell like cinnamon rolls!

No doubt it is the CORO I had from a sampler from our host I bought a few months back. It really blew me away.

Rich leather, grass/hay, vanilla and creaminess with beautiful dense smoke (gifted by Trevor - many thanks my dear friend!) and the ash is indeed a dirty grey colour, with each ash-length approaching an inch-and-a half. Hard to find these days. This was a glorious little cigar! ok.gif

For me it was an H Upmann Natural Tubo from the 60's. Beautiful herbal flavors with just absolute balance. Exquisite.

I had one of those in August. Absolutely wonderful smoke probably my favorite overall Habanos.

Had some very good smokes in September, but absolutely the best one was the Long live the King Jalapenos Style from Caldwell.

I've got one of these in the humidor... might have to fire it up tonight!

My best smoke of September was likely my first ever Partagas Short. Rich with just the right amount of spice, all in a small package so no long cold evenings on the deck. Not sure of the age on it but it was just amazing, especially considering the price. Runner-up would be a Cohiba Mini. I got a handful of them by way of a friend and fired up a couple... ended up smoking through all of them. Was surprised how much Cohiba flavor they packed for being smaller than a cigarette.
