El Presidente Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 What was your cigar of September? The one you can still remember, still taste those flavours if you close your eyes...the one that if they were all that good....would almost make you consider cigar monogamy i have plenty of crackers, but the one that is imprinted on my mind was an Upmann Petit Corona with a little age (06). Glorious shortbread and coffee. Tasted like a Petit Corona version of the Winston. let us know yours
polarbear Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 LFDC Grandiosos One of the more unusual profiles I've had in ages Tangerine and sweet spice followed by a little sweet toasted tobacco in the final third Wonderful 1
puromaniac Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 My last 1966. Just torched it today to celebrate an excellent day of steelhead fishing. 1
vinnyvega Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 SLR Petit Corona from 6/97 I did not expect what I got.
Jeremy Festa Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Sancho Panza Molinos from 2011! Going to be the cigar of the month for me until December and then I have to leave them alone! Sent from my iPhone 1
Rye Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 So many great cigars for me this past sept. Standouts are plenty, but the best would likely be an old Upmann coronas minor gifted to me by the great @Melies and equally as memorable was a fantastic farm custom while video herfing with the great @Optic101 2
Al3xanderdelag Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Partagas D4 from Sept 14, exactly one year old. Love the cedar and spice/twang combo
Boosted Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 For me, it was the Connie A LUB ENE 14. It was a gift from Fabes, and it was just rich, decadent, and delicious.
kwsaw63 Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 2014 Partagas Presidente...have had 2 -3 now and I'm having a hard time not smoke them up too quickly. 2
fabes Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I had a PL Robustos 2007 RE for a celebration cigar last week. Brilliant all around. Great flavors throughout. It was my one and only one, congrats to those who still have some. 1
Rushman Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I smoked my second to last RA Superirores and it was really good. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
jholen Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 MUR13 RASS from a cab. Splendid - trying to hold off from smoking them all to see how they improve over the short term (next year).
Troels Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 2012 petit edmundo was great, but my recent hupc's is what I would stick to if I was to smoke just one cigar
PapaDisco Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 2009 Punch Gran Robusto Espana. Punch had two things going in 2009: dark, rich, syrupy chocolate flavors and random tight draws It was the same with the 2009 Punch Punch I've had, and the Gran Robusto was even grander in this regard but man o man are they're great when they're on.
skalls Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 It was a toss up between a d4 and padron 1926 robusto. Then I had a 4 year old monte 1 from a 24:24 on a shorter than desired rest that was just an amazing cigar.
ebhead Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 10 year old Bolivar Gigantes (outside of one or two REs, the only Bolivar I like. Just a smooth creamy cigar (every time I talk cigars I can't get over the euphamisms)....Anyhoo, was gifted by a friend at a BBQ last month... e
Blace Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Monte 520, so glad I've got a couple boxes left, love them! 2
Hohenthal Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 RA Small Club Corona, didn't have one in a while (although a favourite of mine) - more stewed fruit than most, 93. Cheers, Alex
CaptainQuintero Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Strangely enough a 2012 RyJ mille fleur. Last week I had an unseasonably hot day and fancied something rich and aromatic, I figured RyJ and have the first box I saw. Perfect construction, super deep aromatic flavours and dark sweetness. Tons of smoke. 96 point cigar easily, crazy! 1
mgravito Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Trinidad Fundadores AEM MAR 15. I know they're amazing after some significant rest, but there's this real bite that I love from these when they're young. 1
suggs Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Probably my very first HdM Epicure No.1. Oh so so smooth and sophisticated.
garbandz Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Upmann PC from '11 Still lots of great sticks last month, the Upmann PC takes the top honors..............
