I have found that the designated driver or non-drinker is the best person to send on beer runs to the bar. They will rarely spill any due to beverage induced unsteadiness.

I remember holidaying in Japan and realised they were a country that didn't have a drinking problem when I saw that alcohol could be purchased in vending machines.

I remember wondering to myself how long an alcohol dispensing vending machine would last in Australia before getting vandalised and broken into.

I thought exactly the same thing last year whilst in Japan had visions of alcohol vending machines being loaded on to Utes back here in OZ

My buddy in college, who didn't drink would come with us to the bars no problem. But he was usually the klutz that would knock over a beer.

Accomplished drinkers have a special radar skill, doesn't matter how wobbly they are, the drink seems to stay level. It is an amazing phenomenon.

Its all a matter of scale. Once while camping in Algonquin Park here in Canada, I brought 58.6 litre keg. of Sleeman Cream Ale for I week of camping. Just two fellas fishing enjoying a small dram of beer. Strictly for medicinal puposes you understand? I don't remember if I caught any fish, or much else. No Mr. Park Warden I haven't even had one full beer yet. No I should not have draged that deadfall tree into the firepit.

Up in college, I wound up picking up fencing, the school had a club. Still not sure if the people involved liked fencing or drinking more. One time, our academic advisor(!) found (or knew of) a park, drinking and bonfires were good. We came up to an area where somebody had tried and failed to burn through a large deadfall tree. We finished the job, it was a hell of a fire. Don't remember how much beer was drank, but it was a lot.

I think I would have a few problems with those giant bottles. And I love drinking cold beer! One, it would not stay ice cold long enough for me too drink it because I could not drink it fast enough. I would have to go to the bathroom probably twice before I was done, adding to the first issue and last, I am such an easy drunk I would look like missy in the photo above in no time.

Only she looks very beautiful for what condition she is supposed to be in!
