laficion Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Great guy, May he rest in peace. See you, Mr. Spock !!!! Guy
UpInSmoak Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 I was just listening to some of his achievements on talk radio. He was quite an amazing man. RIP
Fuzz Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 George Takei said it best, “We return you now to the stars, Leonard. You taught us to ‘Live Long And Prosper,’ and you indeed did, friend. I shall miss you in so many, many ways.” Whilst you will always be remembered as Mr Spock, I will also remember your other great pieces of work...
Lotusguy Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 RIP! That reminds me of a joke I recently heard... Q: How many ears does Mr. Spock have? A: Three - his left ear, his right ear, and his final front-ier
OZCUBAN Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 So sad loved his recent episodes on the Big Bang Theory LLAP✌️
Ginseng Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 R.I.P. Leonard Nimoy. You will always be Science Officer Spock to me. Truly, you were an inspiration to this man when he was just a young scientist. Wilkey
Optic101 Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Less than a week before his death, Leonard Nimoy posted what would be his final message on Twitter. And in true Spock form, the words would prove to be more poignant than anyone might have imagined. "A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory," Nimoy wrote on Twitter on February 22, 2015. He signed the Tweet "LLAP" – short for Spock's iconic phrase, "Live Long and Prosper," which was how the actor signed most of his Tweets.
MIKA27 Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Yes indeed very sad news, he was and still is a legend. Apart from Star Trek, he stands out to me for the show "In search of", loved that show
Fuzz Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Yes indeed very sad news, he was and still is a legend. Apart from Star Trek, he stands out to me for the show "In search of", loved that show When I was a little kid, that show used to freak me out. Nimoy's narration was hypnoptic, but also very disturbing when I was 4 yrs old. Though, as I got older, I'd watch every re-run. I miss, "In Search Of", and also Edward Mulhare's, "Secrets & Mysteries". Time to download, I mean, buy the DVDs. 1
