Didn't want to smoke it coz I thought I might like it without appreciating it, if you know what I mean.IT WAS AMAZING.You fellas know better, are they always this good? 1

Sorry to burst your euphoria which I'm glad you experienced. Just keeping it real. I'm not a lover of Cohiba. But those who are swear by the marca.
santela Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 I know what you mean, the idea of smoking a Cohiba gets me excited before I even light one up. But I did have my fair share of mediocre Cohibas, that's why I stick to the handpick/HQ program now.
cigcars Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 The only Cohibas I've had that were below ordinary were the Magicos and Genios new maduro wrappers that were introduced. Man, they sucked. But I've always enjoyed the regular Cohiba lines.
Diamondog Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 I am actually quite disappointed with mine right now...been sampling from UPE JUN 13 15 pack tubo packs and boxes UPE SEP 13. Going to forget about them for a while hoping they'll come around.

I have the same plan my friend. I have a box of Piramides Extra from Dec 13 that I plan to let rest until the end of the year. I similarly am looking forward to it!

At the price they command and the standing they hold as HSA crown jewels, "a few really good ones" is a sad state of affairs.

canadianbeaver Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 I find that if smoke Cohibas from the few boxes I have (I would rather buy Ramon Allones ) and it is not great, I leave it for 6 months - 1 year. If it is still not great, I leave it for at least another 6 months - 1 year. Then they are amazing.
