Rye Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 Not this forum, it's just too big to keep up with for me
CanuckSARTech Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 All the time. I use that almost solely now, probably 90% of my browsing on here. I'll see the page or two of new posts in the day or two since I was last on, check out the ones with the big red stars to the left showing which ones I've already posted to, pop into those, then scroll through the list to see what else is new and may be interesting to me, and then reset it, marking all as read. Next time on the forum, same idea, rinse, repeat. It's a valuable little tool / button once you get the hang of it.
joeypots Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 Almost all of the time. Unless I'm looking for a particular post, like LFTH, I'll click view new content.
headstand Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Almost all of the time. Unless I'm looking for a particular post, like LFTH, I'll click view new content. Ditto
LordAnubis Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I would use it if you could view new content by post and not by forum... i'd like to just see a list of all the new posts (or posts since I last visited or something)... I can't find that option anywhere... am I missing something?
Fuzz AI Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I just set my New Content to Forums and Last 6 Months. Shows all the posts that I have not viewed since my last log on... if I ever logged off, that is. After I click View New Content, I just refresh the page every so often to see what's new. All new posts get opened in new tabs, so I can just refresh the first page instead of clicking on the link.
