dowjr1 Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 What was the best thing you did or accomplished this year...and what is the big thing for 2015? For me, I paid off $38k in debt making me (with the exception of a rental house that more than pays for itself) debt free. Whoop!!! For the new year, the big one has to do with growing my financial practice. How about you guys/gals? 3
santela Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Bought myself an investment property, it's small and nothing special, but it is my first of many to come. 1

JollyWhiteGiant Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Started my own business this year. Broke even on the financial side. Next year is to grow and make some real money! 2
parabola66 Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Enrolled and finished my schooling as a network engineer and server administrator. Got my certifications and got a job and started working on building my carreer.
Guest rob Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Top GCI (gross commission income) in our office for 2014. 3rd in the entire group, out of 66 agents across 8 offices.. But the biggest accomplishment of 2014 is my missus and I finally finishing our backyard and front yard landscaping projects. It's been 5 years in the making, and lots of long days.
LeafLover Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 My son turning 21 and graduating college the same day. Yes, that is my accomplishment too. 2
El Presidente Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 It has been a big year indeed ShooAway on its way as an international success. Great work to my partners Smithy, Stu and Arti. The biggest year in Cigar sales (up 34%). Thanks to my team Di, Lisa, Greg, Alastair, and to PCC. Getting my weight down to near where it needs to be. Thanks to Di, a great personal trainer! Meeting old and new friends at Havanafest! What a 9 days! FOH growing steadily, hitting 11000 members and strengthening its core ethos of Friendship, fraternity, laughter. Thanks to all of you! Being immensely happy in my personal life. A huge thank you to Di! My daughter finishing school. Well done Bec! So much to build on in 2015 both professionally and personally. Looking forward to the short Christmas break and then it is "Game on" 2
CUBANO Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Going to Havana with my brother and son, and meeting a bunch of great BOTL. Also catching up with my cousins in Havana. But the biggest accomplishment for me was becoming a Grandfather. Nothing better than that!
stogieluver Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 1. Completed the sale of the bank I was president of and signed a contract with the new bank to stay on as president. 2. My son got married. 3. My wife and I completed the remodel of the entire interior of our home, including the addition of my cigar room/man cave. 4. Added a custom built 60 box Aristocrat Humidor to my man cave. 5. Added about 30 boxes of cigars to that humi. 1
pbibby Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Had a kid!!! (Didn't / don't have time for anything else anymore! Haha) Next year : Become more financially independent (in other words, if I lost my job, I wouldn't be screwed). Also, smoke more cigars. I think I smoked around 20 this year......
Habana Mike Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Married off my daughter and finally got to Cuba! Hoping to get Series A funding for the business in 2015 2

Rushman Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Well let's see....loads of good things -made it to (and past) my third anniversary. Never made it to number 2 the first time round. -after 3.5 years got my wife's immigrant visa and soon green card -managed to stay employed and on this wonderful island despite the huge cuts following a merger -along with wife and brother in law opened up second cigar shop in Playa del Carmen -saw my mom return to health and gain vitality and move into an independent retirement apartment Here's to topping it in 2015! jacktarnold Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 2014 saw me finishing my degree in nursing passing my boards and starting a new career as an intensive care nurse. On top of that my wife and I our growing our family to include our second child and first son. 2015 will hopefully seeing my wife and I pay off the remaining amount of our debt and moving out of our small town and to a much more pleasant city and away from an ignorant small town. 1
dicko Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Started my own business this year. Broke even on the financial side. Next year is to grow and make some real money! Same here brother
beamer Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Expecting our first child in about a week... Was an excellent 2014 and this kiddo is going to mean all sorts of new things in 2015.
Omskakas Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I made a baby. Well, my wife did. I assisted her. With my penis. 1
Cohiba Stevie Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 After a truly horrific 2013, this year has been a blast! Moved into my first home. Got engaged Had a baby (my life's biggest accomplishment) Built a brewery/smoking shed in my back yard Got promoted. Attended the Amicigar event in Dublin and made great new friends. All the above is why my presence on here has been spotty in the last year. My New Years resolution to make at least one daily contribution.
Cmontoya79 Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Completing a debt management plan started in 2010. Have 5200 remaining and transferred this to a 0 percent card for 12 months offer. It will be gone by 5/2015. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
