Ginseng
I just picked up a Tyrolean Dreispitz while in Florida and that led me to order a Mayser Dreispitz. Really love this funky hat shape. Can be casual or more serious but always unusual. Will get a picture up a bit later. This has got my interest in fur felts, fedoras, and the such. Nothing too hipster as I just can't pull that off. Do we have any regular or occasional hat wearers here at Friends of Habanos? If so, post your fave. Wilkey
DWC
Not for fashion but for practicality. I wear a badger fur trapper hat in cold weather. If it's above 20F, it gets too warm. I use an oilskin outback type hat for the rain. In the heat of the summer I've been known to wear a palm cowboy hat (Kenny Chesney style) to keep the sun off. That one always gets some strange looks living here in New England. I guess they all do seeing there all atypical for this area. As the old saying goes: "screw 'em if they can't take a joke!" I really don't give a damn what others think. -Dan

santela
I wear my Sicilian all the time, not for fashion only because I'm too lazy to comb my hair.

Rye
If the hat fits, I wear it! I love a worn out shady Brady in the summer, I wear a straw hat while c'boyin and a hard hat at work. I do like letting my hair out when it wants too, as I'm grateful to have a full head still at my age
cigcars
I'm really not a hat wearer, period. The only time I'll stick one on is when I positively can't or don't want to fool with my bird's nest. It's becoming Christmas time so my Santa Clause hat will do nicely...as needed
ReelMan
Timely post, as I have 4 Brent Black's on order; a Breton for my wife and a Hemingway, a Havana and a Classic Fedora SE for myself. Can you tell that I live in warmer climes?

Nedule
I have a thing for hats too, mostly ball caps though. My most recent purchase is this wool flat cap from Goorin Bros. Very cool stores. Behind that is a couple fedoras I wear on occasion but normally only in the summer. One thing I've realized about hats it if you try it on & it looks good & fits properly, buy it, don't even think twice. So many nice hats I've walked away from & still regret it.
