Did we not have the ability to delete our own posts at one time?

I was wondering if we could get this back.

I do feel that it is an asset for one to be able to delete his own content if he/she feels compelled to.

you just have to have a time out item. you can't post 15 s within posts.

that will eliminate the doubles at least 95% of the time.

It also stops people like HELIX!!! from posting so many times in the welcome page!

Delay may help. I've found that if I hit Submit and it spins, gives an error or does nothing at all, it has already posted so just refresh or backup.

Some boards don't even let you edit!

I actually jumped in on that word association thread last night ...my wife told me that word I used could be looked upon as racist...I had no idea...luckily I changed it fairly quickly to another word...that said, I did try and delete it initially ...and realized I couldn't. I would have been shocked to offend anyone with no intent ..at the very least if someone changes there mind or thinks twice, we should be able to delete our own posts. Photographs of self or others from time to time may need to be removed as well. My two cents

For me, it's enough that I can edit my own posts. Personally I'd rather everyone at FOH focus on getting great cigars to my door. Let me worry about monitoring my own posts. Is it too much to ask the user to have some self control? I also believe that if a person say something then he/she should own up to it othewise it should not have been posted at all. I don't see FOH as my wife but for what it is....a cigar community of mostly adults. Just my $0.000002.
